It's coming together quicker than prior mergers. Hopefully the merger will continue quickly and smoothly. 

 
Any delay by the pilots in getting single-carrier status, or an SLI, or a JCBA will probably be just as invisible to the customers as has been the battle between the east pilots of US Airways and their westicle counterparts.
 
Almost no one outside of US Airways employees knows that the pilots are still deeply divided.  And I bet more than half of the employees are also oblivious to that fact.
 
No one will notice even if the single-carrier takes 10 years (which, of course, it will not.)  Airplanes will fly, customers will board and profits will be made.

Now that seems a trifle disrespectful sir, given that it's long been very vocally held by the west faction that at least "the rest of the industry", indeed "the rest of the world", fully knows and appreciates their inestimable "worth" and the true "righteousness" of their valiant cause. 😉
