I don't have a problem if they want to quit a voluntary job but the timing and the way in which they quit poisoned the vote.  They jumped on the political drama campaign in the middle of a vote, provided the one being up for recall a political campaign prop, and then their "resignation" obligated the one being recalled to appoint an ad hoc committee to certify the ballots.... and Why hasn't anyone announce to you who was the new chairman of the ad hoc balloting committee....?  And why hasn't anyone asked if the new chairman campaigned or solicited funds on behalf of the one who appointed him/her as the new chairman.....?

There is one thing worse than having a personal political vendetta (accusing the whole BPR of lying) and that is for leaders to flout any necessity to have even a minimal appearance of integrity.

Cheer up!  Things are going to get a lot worse.  Its a merger.
Amen , my point exactly! I lost a lot respect for DAVE C. when he quit the job under MIKE C, same with ERIC J, when he left the PHL rep job bottom line those positions you take , especially elected ones should be fulfilled to term! You accept a position as a rep see it thru, quitting not an option!  The compass correction boys, don't get me started! Admitting they were wrong, nice, but hey still some of us left that never had it wrong!

A special thanks to the Compass Correction boys, you really screwed us all.

It has recently come to our attention that several current and former BPR members have begun a campaign to undermine our personal integrity,...

Fraternally,

Jay Morgan

Wes Yount

Andy Hunt

I never saw any attempts to do that, and I read everything.

-- Who told them their personal integrity was being assaulted... (Neither the one's who alerted the balloting committee nor the balloting committee members themselves.. neither bothered to provide examples or name individuals who allegedly did so, but instead felt it enough to just make unsubstantiated allegations).

-- Who advised the balloting committee members to resign, leaving the President (who was under recall) to appoint a new balloting certification committee?  Did those advising this course of action also solicit funds or campaign on behalf of the President? (That might be a rhetorical question.)

-- Did the balloting committee think their political rant allegation/resignation letter and the resultant new ad hoc committee would be able to provide a vote count with more integrity than they themselves could, by just working for another couple of weeks, courageously counting votes and keeping themselves from being enticed to jump into the political fray?

Sadly, the ballot certification committee were merely amateurs and got played, big time, by "big time" players that brag about playing.  The three amateurs aren't at fault.

Cheer up, the players now have carte blanche to play.  Nothing is sacred.  Not even a membership vote certifying committee.  Its a merger.   😉

You have moved yourself to the "WEST" IMMATURE level , congrats make your dad proud!

The gracious thing to do would be to congratulate the winners, not accuse their supporters of being fools.  😀

Since you have no knowledge of it it must be a conspiracy.

The process was poisoned by whomever tried to illegally influence the election.  I probably would have done the same thing, only been much more vocal about exactly what "undue influence" was being proposed.

Wasn't the entire matter of choosing interim committee positions already hashed out by these same factions?  Who do these BPR members think they are?...Congress?

The integrity of the Balloting Committee was unassailable until the members chose (or were deluded) to personally involve themselves in casting political attacks cloaked in "quitting", resulting in giving the person under recall the obligation (excuse?) to appoint a new ad hoc ballot certification committee.....  I'll ask again.  Who was the chairman of the new ad hoc ballot certification committee and did he/she campaign or solicit funds to oppose the recall of the president?

Political rants and personal vendettas are one thing.  Failing to ensure a possibility for the balloting certification committee to retain at least an appearance of neutrality is unforgivable baboonery, or worse.

Cheer up.  If the reality is as it appears, it will get a lot worse.

I'd like to congratulate the new chairman of the ad hoc balloting committee, but I don't know how much money he/she collected, if s/he did.

Where is it stated that committee members don't get to exercise their rights to vote or campaign?  I saw plenty of it from the BPR members.  Your observation about the committee members resigning and deferring to the president to replace them only cements in my mind just where the "undue influence" was coming from.
