I was actually thinking of the westies when I said that.  DOH without fences would be much more unfair to them than to the east pilots.  From the standpoint of position, DOH without fences would be a windfall for the east pilots even over the AA pilots.
 
If it happens, I will personally be quite well positioned and will happily accept it.  But it still would not be fair to a whole lot of ther people.  Me?  I would just have to endure that briar patch.

I have it from a very good source that the merger committe contiues to represent USAPA pilots even if USAPA goes away.

You know, I heard that too..probably at the road show. But I'm not having any luck finding it in black & white anywhere.
Does anyone know if this is written in the agreement? If so, please provide a citation.

It will be "Nic-like" only in the sense of the slotting by category and seat.  Because the east has enjoyed highly accelerated movement upward, a slotted list would be certainly more appropriate now than when that senile, clueless old war hero made his "award" almost 6 years ago.
 
There will be no one 1400 numbers "senior to himself" when the dust settles.
