62% of Americans believe abortion morally wrong

And my mammogram technique is flawless. We don't need any Obamacare for that check.

IIRC, xUT has answered that question in detail in another thread...with a rather personal example. Your memory is as bad as your typing on your iPhone.
Quite possible. Big thumbs small buttons. Oh well.

These are the two responses KC has had in this thread. Which one addresses a special circumstance.

You have not given a single special circumstance in which you have said it would be OK to terminate a pregnancy (is that phrase OK?) much less a reason why it would be OK.

You ask if I support unfetterd abortion. I have answered this question numerous times but unlike you but unlike you I will answer again because you may have forgotten my opinion or not read it.

Yes. Yes. Yes. I support the womans right to choose with no limitations.

Well, that's the conundrum. You support unfettered abortions, nothing is sacrosanct in your eyes. (on many topics)
Abortions should not be used as a contraceptive.
A woman has the right to close their legs as well.
A pregnancy is not just a 'one person' occurance, no sperm== no egg and visa versa.
Takes "2".
Yes I have read your arguments as a pregnancy 'to you' is just a parasite as a tick or tape worm.
That's because you have no soul.
There have been several cases where the 'father' (sperm donor in your little mind) wants the child. What is their legal recourse?
Nos will you answer my question or not? Whag special circumstances do you support as a justification to terminate a pregnancy and why. I am not asking for a moral reason but a legal one. I want to know if your circumstance has a legal reason that is better than someone who has xecided not to carry a pregagncy to term.

This is not your first rodeo, and I am not going to do 'your' homework.

You do not have to do anyone's home work.  I'm just asking for a simple answer which you still have not provided.

I am fully aware that you are against abortion.  What I am asking is if you have any legal argument to support it.  How do you make an argument that it is OK to terminate a pregnancy that occurred from rape as opposed to any other pregnancy?  The cause of the pregnancy is not the fault of the fetus.  If the reason behind the argument is that life is sacred then all life must be sacred (unless you are arguing that some life is more sacred than others) so then there can be no exceptions for abortion except may be for the life of the mother but what makes her life more valuable.  Why is that decision not left to nature (or God as you would say)?

We live in a country based on the rule of law which according to the 14th must be equal for all.  Moral platitudes while warm and fuzzy do not have any legal standing.

Go for it.

Where do your rights over what a woman may do with her body stop? If a fetus gets legal standing are you willing to execute the mother for capital murder? After all, the merder of that human would be premeditated. Woul you prosecute use of the morning after pill?

Using common sense and not thinking in extremes would answer that.  But then again liberal dumacrats are incapable of such a feat.

I know conservatives have a really hard time with how laws work but try and tbink it through.

If a fetus is redefined as being alive in terms of the law than taking a life with premeditation is murder. Premeditated murder is a capital offence. Are you following how this works or are you one of those conservatives who likes to pick and choose whats murder?

So do you have an answer or are you just going to doge it like everyone else here has?

so what about my right to not want to pay for the woman getting an abortion esp when yes is using it for birth control?

I agree that abortions should be privately funded along with ED drugs, cosmetic surgery and other similar things.

If I recall correctly, the amount of public funding for abortions is quite small so it should not be hard to make up the shortfall.

The problem I see with this is that the arguments being used against abortion are moral not finacial. The financial argument works better in favor of abortion. Plus conservatives are typically not advocating anything to reduce pregnanvies in the first place.
