62% of Americans believe abortion morally wrong

The biggest reason I hardly ever post in abortion or gay rights threads is that they are not huge issues and things that matter to me. I am certainly not saying they are not important in general, just that they are not to me.

I guess what it amounts to I am more a fiscal conservative than a moral one.

I do not care so much about abortions or gay mariage as much as I do for individual rights which these two examples are reflective of. I believe people must have absolute control over their own bodies. So long as what ever they do does not affect the rights of others goverment should have no say in it.

The money being spent on abortions is pennies compared to the rest of the waste. And if its a financial argument its much chealer to abort than have the state pay for child care with a parent who cannot aford it. Then there is the cost of birth control and sex ed which ends up being less expensive than all of the rest.

That's nice.  So what legislation or programs have you supported to try and prevent pregnancies and support the children of women who cannot afford to raise them or is that not your concern?  So long as they are born, who cares if they suffer right?  According to Feed America, roughly 16 million children under 18 live in households where they are not able to have consistent access to nutritious food.

Since you seem to only communicate via pictures and one liners, this might be more up your alley.

So why don't you put up or shut up.

Maybe Dan Quayle was right with his criticism of Murphy Brown 20 years ago.

Perhaps if single parenting hadn't been made out to be so glamorous by the media, Tree's meme wouldn't be the case today.

You people are living in the dark ages, do you want to take away a woman's right to vote too?

Take away their right to own property?

Yes we need to kill the baby, that way it doesn't suffer!! Oh my..the stupidity never ends. Maybe the mom needs to quit hoe'in around.  Be responsible for their own actions, but we know that's impossible for libturds.

There comes a time when there is no point in arguing with a degenerate.

Glamorous?  If people are so easily swayed by TV why not just put  ... OH never mind.  You really think single parenthood is viewed as glamorous by people?  Really?

Geez, that's what you got out of my post?  Stop spewing hot air and answer the questions already.

Arguing?  Look up the definition of an argument.  So far all you have done is spout off insults and incoherent comments.  You have yet to support your position with anything but hot air.

You also might want to look up misogynist.

Absolutely, I think it's over-glamorized in the movies and on TV. Watch any sitcom or TV drama from the past 20 years involving a single parent (divorced or widowed doesn't count). You'll never see them on food stamps. They're almost always career people who are quite successful, or have someone pitching in to provide child care so they can continue to work full time. Hardly the realistic portrayal of what happens when you get pregnant out of wedlock before you graduate college.

The only place I can say it's been accurately portrayed is reality TV -- shows like "16 and Pregnant" and "Teen Mom" don't gloss over the difficulties. Perhaps it's only a coincidence that the teen pregnancy rate started to drop after those shows came out...

Not sure how a rich older affluent white single mother is glamorous.  I imagine there are quite a few young struggling women who would have liked to be Murphy Brown but I do not think that makes it 'glamorous' unless we are using the words differently.

Yep. And I'm sure it has nothing to do with free birth control under Obamacare.
