Well Lo and Behold---so many here said it wouldn't happen but the company HAS put CATCREW computers in PIT for those commuters to use. Located on the mezzanine level where the old gym used to be-the room with the frosted glass.
Miracles DO happen ! Those PIT people ARE special !!!

I honestly don’t know why, in this day and age, anyone would use a CATCREW terminal for anything more than checking in for a trip.

Mainline Crew Transit Room in PIT
If you're traveling thru PIT anytime soon and have some sit time built into your schedule, stop by the new Mainline Crew Transit Room. You'll find a few amenities here such as a microwave
and 4 PCs, two with CATCREW, one with CATCREW, QIK and FLiCa and one for CBT.

I am sorry but this is just BS! We get recordings on the scheduling update as reserve saying they are not releasing because the PIT commuters can't get to work a few months back. We are abused in CLT and PHL because PIT HP and US flights are running late with working crewmembers. They roll out every possible cushion when at no time was this afforded to anyone else in BWI, LAX, SAN, SFO, SYR, ATL, MIA, ROA or any other base we ever had! A microwave and everything? Oh. If I were still commuting from the West coast I would be furious!
We all had hard choices to make! You think I like living in PHL because it's a beautiful city? NO! I live here for work. I made scarifies and was told to live it and lump it.

Anyone hear about Omar in PHL Union Office being accused of working both for mgmt as an 'observation rider' and union official? I heard something about the MEC bringing charges against her.

Wait a minute, I just realized, isn't this a conflict of interest, to be both a union official and work as a management spy? 😱

You must think the world revolves around what happens to a reserve flight attendant and a reserve alone. Guess what, you are just a small piece of the big engine that runs this airline. We have all said that the system doesn't work. And the idea that you dislike the PIT crew room because there is one is just foolish. There is no base barrier for PIT because is doesn't exist. There is now a crew room so you can check your sked. Do your Bids, Read your email, List for a flight, etc. This is what we call a tool.... For the job we do.... Not a hinderance.... Grow up... Smell the Coffeee... Pick up the trash... Anything but complain...

I'm not really sure where to ask this so I'll ask it here since it's the "FA" thread. Can someone explain to me the use of clips? I've been noticing it on some of my trips and sorry but it's annoying as hell. Is it new procedure?? Can someone shed some light on this?

We still have plenty of former PSA f/a's commuting. Heck, we have a brand new terminal in MIA. Surely they could find an old PIT crew room couch, an old ( I mean current ) Windows 95 computer, and an old club table with those silly looking gloryhole-ist Larry Craig hole' s in them ....TOOLS...and stick it all in some remote corner of the MIA terminal I. Better yet, why not just buy all the PIT f/a's a new PC, hook them up to shares and catcrew so they can check their schedules, email, bid, and list for their flights? :unsure:

It's Awefully Clean!! But Wait Til the Crews REALLY Get A Hold Of It! I'm Amazed At How Much Our Crews Are PIGS!! On AND Off THe Plane! 🙄

This isn't just for the flight attendants, take into account the pilots, caterers, ramp, agents and mechanics. I'm sure there are upwards of a 1000 people commuting from PIT to places other then PHL too. Please don't give us the well they didnt do it for BWI/SFO/LAX/etc etc. Different time different place. 15 years ago we were not dependent so much on computers for our jobs. Besides I bet having the computers in PIT for the commuters to use will help the agents because when all hell breaks loose they can go in there and find their own way to work instead of pestering the agents.

I'm sure the company probably still has a lease and they are paying for the space anyhow, might as well put it to use and show some respect to your employees.

For the record, I am not a PIT commuter.
