That's the way it was in the memo. It was the ole cut and paste. It was NOT addressed to ANYONE!! I did not put it in all capital letters, so GET OFF YOUR HIGH HORSE!! :down: :angry:

I understand how you would think that. When you cut and paste, there isn't a differential like when we quote here at us aviation. In the future I will make sure everyone knows where the paste starts. You can now apologize for assuming and I will say no problem. 🙂

I don't think US East should get too worked up about what US West was seeking. This issue is probably a little blurred because of the way things worked out. This is how I see it...US West has been trying to negotiate a new deal in good faith for a while now as the current contract expired last year. When the company re-iterated it's desire to incur "no cost" to this new agreement...ie, pay parity with the latest recall proposal, the union fired back with no agreement on the recall issue. I think they sincerely have an understanding that it makes sense to bring back US East invols, but also are in aposition to seek a new agreement before a single agreement is brought to the table for sorting out.

As for US West FA's.....don't worry about what they say..some can be unreasonable, the vast majority...vast majority..do not share the same sentiment that is expressed on this board.

How do you guys at east feel about Mike Flores as your MEC leader? I heard that he did not walk out with everyone else initially and stayed behind for a bit. I am a bit concerned about this.

If this is true, I would have a problem with it. We were told that Mike walked out with Caorl A, however for reasons other than the reasons of MEC-West.

Actually it is true. Mike Flores did not leave until approx 20 minutes after the HP MEC walked out.
