I tip my hat to you sir. You cared enough to call. I appreciate your input. And I will make sure your suggestions are relayed to the IAM side. Thanks for the call.

I just checked the DOL website and there has still been no filing for this entity to be recognized as existing and their Facebook page hasn’t had a comment made to it in 3 weeks so the question is moot.

Sounds like it is DOA! Might explain alot now section 6,-and Federal mediation has arrived. However you guys actually have some days instead of 2 days a month. The first day we eat, the second day we pass some paperwork back and forth, then fly home. Good luck guys. As a positive note I see in AMFA 4 election we finally have someone to run against our ALR Cramer that always runs unopposed, so things are looking up.

Translation: The TWU f....ed it's members big
Hey Charlie Brown as an outsider it's just like Northwest and Delta, Delta in name only, except now Richard Anderson is running AMTrak. So tell me as an IAM guy if the mechanics ever managed to get the Association out, and replaced with AMP, like some on here want to do, what contract would survive? The Superior IAM contract, or the bankrupt TWU contract? Just curious.
Cant say, I can only give you my opinion. But both the IAM and TWU contract became amendable on the same date. But as you know, neither contract expires under the RLA. So I would assume any union would try to take the best of both contracts and put into a joint contract.

When did I ask you to fight for me?? I am asking you to fight for yourself.
And is walking a info picket all you focus on?? Have you bothered to ask any of your local twu leaders in Dfw about the recent scheduling of the picketing there in Dfw?? Or do you just want to cry??.
I am the one that was in contact with our twu counterpart for the picket. I had advise him more than a month before the picket, before the date was even set, that the only week we wouldn’t be available was the week of the 21st. However he contacted me and said the 23rd was the best date for all the twu members. So I agreed that they should go ahead with it since 99% of the members in Dfw are twu. The IAM did have some of our local reps there, but the TWU leaders knew ahead of time that the IAM negotiating officers had our convention that we are required to attend that week. It was all agreed upon, and nothing was done or not done without both the twu and IAM knowing what was happening. So that’s your answer Dfw gen. Now go ahead and cry about it!!
Yes nice living it up on the members dues money instead of getting us the industry leading contract.

So, you want us to bring out the company’s latest offer? Losing jobs and other benefits? If that’s living it up on the members dues then ok.
I’m sure you would be one of the first to blame us for bringing out the pos agreement.

Thank you sir, I love how Swarat comes on here, and calls you a Liar, you are on the negotiating committee, so you know what's going on. I was a union steward at SWA when we were Teamsters. I always love when he thinks an independent union can get something faster or better than an Industrial union. You can't get anymore than management will give you. Good luck, you know how long AMFA is taking at SWA.

Now, if the other detractors here would be brave enough to do the same... this forum would be more legitimate!

I'll bet the company would love to have the latest offer accepted, and endorsed by the association. Tim for that matter, would love it too, as it would give him an infinite library of anti-IAM/TWU posts for the next decade or so...

Ironically, my understanding is he that he wouldn't be allowed to even vote on it!

My understanding is that the "Executive Team" is the "Negotiating Sub-Committee" is tasked with reviewing the contract language.
That is why it takes 6 of them, but are not allowed to be in with the Mediators.
So Alex Garcia a fleet service clerk is doing all the negotiating in the room with the company with the mediators overseeing the talks. Then he comes out of negotiations to discuss what was covered and so on. Then the NC which was sitting outside the negotiations room is updated. Then they will decide on the next step based on what Alex Garcia told them. Is that how you conduct contractual negotiations under mediation? So the NC never had a say in countering or modifing the companies proposals. Sounds like a one man show doing all the talking. Then he sells it too the so called sub-committee. Uhmmmmm?

Obviously you haven’t spoken to “Mr” Nelson. It’s not Alex Garcia who is in there all alone, it’s Sito Pantoja an Aircraft Mechanic who is doing all of the Negotiating with the Company with the mediators overseeing the talks. Sito is deciding the fate of 18,000 Ramp Agents who he knows nothing at all about what we do.

Alex was at Disney in Orlando with his Children riding the Log Flume.

Translation: The TWU f....ed it's members big time!
That's the sad truth AANOTOK. We've been feeling it and will continue to for who knows how long. At least the IAM guy comes on and admits they have done things for their members. Not for the Association. I have a hard time dealing with the TWU guys at all now. Some of the 513 guys are good fellows, but the international sold us out. And Parker loves it. Guy is like a used car salesman.

Now you understand why i said storm twu. Trumka f'd us. the iampf f'd us. bond mckaskill, laws are only for the little people. take the afl cio. I always cracked up when the jackass twu, thought these iam guys were great guys. 10 years later....

Mr. Nelson, you have repeatedly lied about the IAM pension being in on "critical life support" in these forums. I presented definitive proof that the IAMNPF is in fact a "green zone" plan, that is actually outperforming most similar plans....

Are you attempting to suppress the membership's interest in the IAMNPF with your false accusations? Are you doing this to prevent the TWU members from being offered the plan as well? Could you be doing this because you do not want the IAM to gain provenance and clout, thus making your divisionary tactics less effective?

Why lie? These has to be a reason...
