Because I do no know enough about the event (yet) to make a comment on.
Then please read up and let us know. Isn't that what your cohorts on NoWayAFA preach all the time? "Get the facts", etc...
I have a feeling that some don't want to investigate this incident because they know they won't like the outcome. I mean, isn't that why the gentleman, Palmer, on Facebook skewed the issue to be about a pro-union LAX f/a "lying" about Yasuko's settlement rather than the issue at hand?
That's why I think this NoWayAFA group is no better than the AFA die-hards that they rail against. They are exactly the same; just on different sides of the issue.
What galls me is that the NoWay group is trying to seduce the NW f/a's with their sanctimonious attitude. That somewhow they are different, tell the truth, don't skew issues, etc..
The good thing is that I think many NW f/a's who take the time to read through those postings will see through them.
I know one thing. I have been around DL a long time and while I know that there are members of that group that have researched the issues, work hard/fly a full schedule, there are many more I recognize that have often over the years done "special assignments"..such as uniform fittings/showings, facilitating mandatory meetings such as the Velvet Rope, interviewing prospective f/a's, product-testing flights, former supervisors, etc... I'm sure you'll tell me that they are just proud and excited to work at Delta, and that may be, but aren't some of them a little worried that maybe they won't have the direct access to be "teacher's pet" any longer if a contract is voted in?
I mean, I've put in for some of the "special assignments" before and when I'm not chosen and see who is....it's always the same faces. And I think you know who I mean.(PS: I'm a good f/a, put together in my uniform..in fact, I was used in one of Delta's print ads way, way back...probably before you were out of elementary school.) I believe one of the NoWayAFA'ers , Ms. Kelley, let it slip in one of her many postings when she used the term "the
core Delta f/a's"... Core, huh? What are the rest of us? Husks?
