What's new

Anyone Iam M&r.....

What station? Every person who conducted a ratification vote and meeting had a copy.

I have a copy, I will not be posting it for the 1,000,000 time, contact your General Chairman and they will let you see it.

Nope I do not get paid to post.

Why is it so difficult for any of you to contract your Representative in order to see it?

If you want to see it, there is a way for you to, get off your duff and make arrangements.

i find it rather amusing that you went in to vote on the term sheet that was presented to you and while strolling into the room the only thing that was on your feeble little mind was seeing this IAM last offer to the company and henceforth you don't even infer that you had the bravado to ask anyone there at the time...or didn't you see the big 4 x 8 flourescent orange board saying HERE IS THE IAM FINAL OFFER TO THE COMPANY
no you didn't because you didn't know it existed or was available at the time...don't bs me....you heard about it here...

Was it under a sign? Or was it under lock and key.. a blank piece of paper

Stop hiding it if it is real.. why is IAM afraid to make it public? Are they saving it for next round? Tell us please inquiring minds want to know!!!

Vast majority?

Lets see there is three people on this board who want to see it and claim it does not exsist, but yet when told how to see it you refuse.

Guess it is not important enough to you.

3 out of 4,000 is a real vast majority.

i rest my case 700 ..look what he says about his true concern at the time:

The real interesting thing is the company's final offer was in the majority of the member's hands on Monday 1/10/05 and the ratification vote was held on 1/17/05 and 1/18/05, I guess in seven or eight days he could not pick up the final offer sheet and read it so he would have time to read the IAM's offer to the company of 1/5/05.

At this juncture I don't care what you think. I am asking for proof of something that was said to have been done. It makes a huge difference if members are being lied to by union officials or not.

Yes the vast majority... 4000 can't produce one once of proof here it exists. Not one has posted one fact about contents. It is all fabricated.

Not one poster here can say the saw it and produce any facts from it. THAT sir says a lot.

i did, frank did,fry did, johnny did, leroy did.....i can go on and on...like was already said before ...if you were an IAM member you would know where to go to see it and it isn't in some secret dark corner of your mind.....

You can say you did till granny comes home it don't mean anything. No proof no exist. Hearsay

What is really funny is you people who said you saw it cannot even come up with a reason it can't be posted.

I'm reasonably convinced that the IAM had an offer to the company, and that they had it to the company on 1/5. However, it leads to two simple followups:
  • Did the offer truly address all of the company's requests, while maintaining two-thirds of the employees?
  • Did the company have reason to believe that the membership would have turned it down? This is an important question, since the tacit implication appears to be bigger paycuts than the final contract.
  • What happened to the offers prior to 1/5? How did they differ from the 1/5 offer?
I'm trying to figure out how the two offers would have the same fiscal result, while one had 65% more retained employees. Something does not add up.
