That's why it's not a joke. AwFOL (Angry West First Officer of Leonidas) is a concerted effort by junior pilots out west to extort from senior pilots money to advance their minority cause. Looking forward to the First Captain that says he won't pay another nickel to you and he sues your organization for loss pf pay and extortion.

You see, this is how we on the west view usapa. How else can you explain why the senior east pilots have put up with LOA93 for six unnecessary years? They should have shut down the angry fo club over there but I guess your intimidation factor is daunting.

You do realize that it was your angry fo club that started this whole mess, right? As a matter of fact I believe you are one of those scabs.

Jamie-

More crew room whispers and just bad info. The donations run through the entire list with big givers both at the top and bottom. The folks at the bottom of the list have everything to lose if the DOH dream works and the guys at the top who retire in the next 3-4 years have no dog in the fight. Having said that some of the largest donors are the 'grey hairs' much like the 'grey hairs' on the east that chose to fore go the pay increase via contract to support the DOH jihad. That $50-60k for each year would be nice once age 65 hits, but as of right now that's money left in Doug's pocket.

Go back to extorting your own pilots who aren't RTBs.

Here is how AOL funds itself. First Officers ask the Captains to donate and if they don't then all the First Officers put them on the no fly list and the Captain cannot pick up time. You gotta love it!!! True extortion by the minority. And you thought USAPA was bad. AOL, the "real" AFO club.

Wrong junior.

Oh, and we are suing for lost pay and extortion.

April Fools, folks. Both Dan and Dave have measured up to the true meaning of this date: they ARE most certainly "fools for all seasons."

Says the guy who quit the union he helped create and couldn't vote on the MOU.

Real men of genius.

Wow. I think we went almost a week without the scab rant.

Even the West flight attendants are getting in the act. They call us "east infection". I love it, everyone calls everyone names. Yesterday, we laughed about how childish the West crews can get. I know, this dialogue is supposed to be beneath professionals, but I gotta say, even the pleadings from Harper and Jacobs are downright infantile. They ask again to move their suit to Wake and/or Silver. The company doesn't care. What USAPA will do I have no idea but Harper asked this the last time in the DJ and Wake told them no because the transfer had to be with the consent of BOTH parties.

The plain language of LRCiv 42.1(a) requires for an unconsented transfer that the related case be “pending” before the transferee judge alone is authorized to transfer the other case to himself. That requirement fails on this motion.

See you guys in BK court tomorrow. Hope Marty and Andy got some sleep.

Well, you got to ask or it will not happen.

So, please explain why uscaba would not want to make it uncontested and speed up the process.

The company has already stated it's interest of a quick resolution and not contesting the transfer. What is it that uscaba fears that they would oppose the transfer?

Don't bother answering, we all know what the scab game plan is, and by contesting the transfer, they prove our point. Intentional delay and refusal to negotiate a JCBA is a failure of a unions DFR. Particularly when that delay is for the purpose of favoring one subsection of the group at the expense of another.

The Supreme Court has ruled twice on mandatory dues in a closed shop.

First case was Beck vs CWA and Machinists vs Whirpool and the court ruled you have to pay what's germane to the CBA.

And you become a non-member, losing your right to vote on a CBA, in union elections and you lose the right to attend meetings, but you still have to be represented in case of discipline.

It's easier to prove that they did try to negotiate than didn't. Had they been able to get 150/hr for FOs, it probably would have passed!

There is no need now to "rush" anything, or enable expedited decisions. Anywhere. (But didn't USAPA ask the 9th for expedited service recently? I am asking)

The POR is growing closer and closer, and all these distractions will soon be behind us. It’s actually kind of relaxing, despite the threats and intimidation thrown about here and by Marty in PHX. Watching the back pay grow, and watching the NIC and all its grotesqueness fade completely away.

Thank goodness the West Class understood the need to move on to a completely new SLI process. And good on USAPA for using the opportunity to get EVERYONE better working conditions and pay. Breaking an 8 year integration log jam, and getting everyone a pay raise. Sounds like a legitimate union purpose, were one even needed.

As you've said below, "The POR is getting closer and closer". USAPA is arguing they have all the time in the world...that the POR approval won't happen until the 4q13 or even 1q14. The recent nod of approval by the Judge Lane says otherwise. Therefore it would seem prudent for all parties to have the lingering question regarding LCC's SLI resolved prior to the merging of LCC & AA pilot seniority lists. As you said..."getting closer and closer"!

USAPA did ask to expedite the 9th's decision...and was slammed with a big NO! I believe LCC has even asked the 9th for further delay. I'm guessing the company may have seen their argument evaporate regarding the "Hobson's Choice". They really have a "Half-Hobson" now as the threat of a USAPA strike has completely evaporated with the recent pilot's agreement (of course the Permanent Injunction that USAPA agreed to also made that an empty argument). The only portion of a "Hobson" still existing is the threat of an AOL lawsuit.

Good luck with that...is that really all that USAPA's got?

Something about running out of ideas, airspeed and altitude all at the same time.

That's all they got.
