All that matters is the Arbitrators ruling. Both the CAL/UAL MEC's testimony before the panel is as irrelevant as USAPA. Just relax and worry about your own airline. Nothing that happens at any other airline is going to change the fact the USAPA will be constrained to acknowledge and DEFEND the nic award via Injunction in the coming months.
Just like the 1900 East guys that were unemployed at the time of the merger and appropriately stapled, if I were a UAL furloughee, I'd start accepting the fact that I'm not going to be senior to all WORKING cal pilots of the last 13 years. We see what happens when expectation management goes berserk. USAPA and the resultant Billion dollar price tag happens. It changes nothing, but makes the pilot group poorer.
