Does anyone have any insight into MM/Claxon's fetish with DUI and Franke? I personally would have loved to see Franke go medieval on the east so they would have a proper frame of reference when complaining about management. They'd carry Doug Parker in on their shoulders!

They had a history of paying their management through concessions to look the other way while they played their Full Pay to the Last Day games, until the last day was on the horizon and there was no more money to play with. Perhaps a Franke would have shaken up things enough to allow them to remain a stand-alone airline.

I think the eastern division needs only reference their decisive destruction of AOL at the hands of the 9th. The "melodramitical" denial of a FINAL AND BINDING agreement is the funniest. We all get it scab.....its either the NIc or LOA93/contract 2004. BTW, fourth week of vacation this month (fifth week in Nov), so I will attend oral arguments.

What you don't get is the company has the best lawyers, and they are playing usapa.

Lets see where are we...oh, we have a judge with the highest case load of any federal judge, who has a mandate that does not allow her to hold a case more than 180 days. On day 179 she schedules oral arguments that will likely determine usapa's fate on a date that coincides with when voting for the MOU would have fallen.

The company played the scabs over six months in advance, knowing exactly when the oral arguments would be scheduled.

The company also knows usapa has a losing case, and they are not going to touch anything usapa until a federal judge gives them some form of immunity via a ruling. Which in all likelihood will never happen because...usapa is free to negotiate for ALL LCC pilots, not just the east scabs out to steal West seniority.


One more thing......I guess you have not noticed, but the threat of release to self help and a strike that the company said it fears and usapa had threatened, is no longer an issue. Company played usapa on that many months ago.


Also heard Hummel has already said usapa will appeal any ruling not favorable to the scab agenda.....enjoy LOA93 schmuck.

Imo; "civilized" people wouldn't fight at all...unless there were seriously irreconcilable and dire disputes, in which tragic case; they'd actually fight...which would provide real social impetus towards settling issues reasonably. Lawyers/"civil" courts/etc exist mostly to serve and breed truly uncivilized behaviors and attitudes, and they disgust me.....
