Agreed, given the added thought that line pilots shouldn't ever be manipulated into any false sense of urgency by small, special interest groups, and be allowed full access and time to digest just what's truly inside anything to be voted on.

I would narrow that to "sufficient" time, but not an open-ended opportunity for further delay so that other special interests can cajole, intimidate and arm-twist their fellow pilots until they vote their way.

You do remember the USAPA card drive, don't you?

I think the BPR should present any MOU or TA without any recommendation. It should stand or fall on its own merits and leave the used car dealers back on the Auto Mile.

1) Sufficient time is whatever it takes for an educated electorate to become comfortable in their decision....and not what you or I might whimsically decide. There was plenty of time, imo, for the road shows and vote as it was set up....before team tempe stepped in to pull it. IF those wunderkinder have now opted to say "Just kidding!...It's still open!...We really aren't just trying to play you like violins or anything!...TRUST US!" ...well...ALL should have proper concerns for just what devils are truly in the details!

2) I certainly do. I'm surprised you choose to bring that up. Who could ever forget the west's brilliant braying at that point in history?...."You won't even get 200 cards!" and my personal favorite; "Send the cards...I DARE you!" Do you honestly believe that any west references to that situation should be given much thought? 😉 Do you further, honestly believe any out east should, by that reference at least, give any current (and clearly self-interested) west fantasies ANY thought.....?

There's nothing at all "selective" in my recollections of that time. The facts are that the vocal west folks were, just plainly and simply, completely wrong in their estimations of circumstances and events....as seems to again be the current situation.

I've no intention of that happening to anyone...as it so clearly did to your bunch prior to usapa's inception, and again at the 9th circuit....not to mention the countless "billions in damages" you were all going to have long since received. Your group has established zero credibility as soothsayers thus far. Anyway....so...what's your true agenda here? The west cries that the east CoC is worthless...as is the east scope, and they should just be dumped immediately and without question....? It's amusing to note that neither of those concerns are properly ANY business of the west to even opine on. Past that obvious observation...seriously; what's the big problem here with allowing people to rationally educate themselves before jumping to conclusions/votes/etc?

Why should anyone feel any undue sense of supposed urgency here at all?

If only your endless verbage was as truncated as your recollection of the truth, we'd all be better off.

Possibly, but your saying such hardly makes it so, nor should your notions of what the east should immediately surrender, in the way of any contractual provisions that you certainly don't have, make the slightest difference to any thinking person.
