nic4us: Collelo needs to get used to the fact that it does not matter when Bean was hired at AWA....if Bean was at AWA he is senior to Collelo.

Nobody is squirming. Ignoring is the polite way of saying what is happening.

Which would of course explain your immediate response posts of belligerent and defensive squirming...? Most impressive in the way of "ignoring" 😉 I rest my case.....

nic4us: "got any other comments about luv737's age?.....see I am betting 767one does not have more years in aviation than luvn737 has been alive....." Sigh!..I guess we'll just never know, since you're all (as usual) amazingly shy about admitting just when you started work at good old AWA...just sayin' 😉 I suppose that's sadly understandable, since I'd be truly embarrassed to ever be in your morally indefensible position as well.

Frankly I'm sorry I made the post day before yesterday about your impending retirement. What I was trying to ask you was why do you care and why are you passionate about the current situation? I suppose I was putting myself in your shoes. When I get to that last few months, I doubt I will be focused on anything except what kind of adventures the wife and I can get into. Looks like my comments have morphed into something about your voting. You are a dues paying member and your vote counts until the day you retire. I'm not even sure why such a debate is taking place.

I agree with your post Bob.

Driver...

Driver,

No problem here. Sometimes the topics do tend to drift a bit. It's a forum and discussion is always healthy. I find I learn something from all posters including those who may be somewhat less than polite. As far as the retirement goes I have had as you know 2 times to get it right. At this point I have everything in place except for a couple of items from the company which is as usual a bit behind.

It will not be hard to leave USAirways but it will be difficult not to be with those I have known for so many years. I don't care much what happens to USAirways but I do care about what happens to my coworkers. The fact that I have a different opinion from others does not mean I don't care.

Bob

Hearty congrats and best wishes for a long and blessed life for your new arrival!

Thanks,

Last month my bride and I took a week's vacation to bond with the new arrival and enjoy the company of my son and daughter in law. Lots of fun!

BTW, do you tell BB the same thing?
Better than that, I tell myself that.

The east had no problem voting away the west's Age 58 Training Bypass when it didn't even affect them. That was fundamentally wrong. If there is a vote concerning things I am no longer a party to, I would let the folks who are going to live with the consequences have that vote.

I wouldn't expect the east-centric folks to understand.

got any other comments about luv737's age?.....see I am betting 767one does not have more years in aviation than luvn737 has been alive......I am also betting you are likely to make more false assumptions, even accusations..just like Claxhole.

Nobody is squirming. Ignoring is the polite way of saying what is happening.

You might be right about luvns age and my years in aviation. As long as luvn is a guy he won't mind admitting he is over 49.

You'd win the bet, not that I don't wish I was much younger again. If I was back in 5th grade I'd at least understand EastUS1's emotional reasoning.

luvn737s: "I wouldn't expect the east-centric folks to understand."

Well...were you back in 5th grade....you might then prove capable of far more rational responses than those you typically now offer.....

Thanks,

Yeah...the brand-new ones do bring some real magic along with them. 🙂

My point was your condescending attitude ain't going to get you anywhere.

It betrays the entitlement attitude the east displays but has zero reason for holding.

Lets start all over again. The West was not added to the east list. The east got more from Nicolau than they would have had stand alone. The West's positions at LCC are not for usapa or 767one to decide.

Further, has even one West pilot ever said 767one did not deserve his position? Did any West poster on this board ever try to take from 767one? No.....but, it seems you and 767one both feel it is okay to take from the West, and indeed are actively support that job theft.

I don't give a damn if the guy got a glider rating at 14, and has been flying for 50 years. That is completely inconsequential. I soloed at 16 and also have over 40 years in aviation. Does not matter. What matters is Bean, just like 767one, held a job and status at his company that gained him a position on the COMBINED list.

The West's position is not "morally indefensible"....(another FOS claim you just threw out there). It is the east's position of actively reneging on a contractually committed agreement, and a final and binding arbitration that is indeed "morally indefensible". Seeking to take your co-workers job ain't exactly the high ground either.

In other words, take your condescending attitude and shove it. My position, the West's position, is one of simplicity and integrity. You either live up to an agreement, or we will see that the agreement is followed.

Now, got any other false statements to throw out there in your defense of your morally bankrupt position?

Well...now that you mention it...luvn737s doesn't even think he should vote! You just can't make this kind of utter insanity up!

nic4us:"In other words, take your condescending attitude and shove it." Or what?...Ya' gonna' beat me senseless with an "Integrity Matters" T-shirt? 😉

nic4us: " My position, the West's position, is one of simplicity and integrity." Thanks for that!..Laughter is always good for the soul and I almost laughed myself outta' my chair again! So far: you've got a tight lock, perhaps not on the nic "award", but certainly on the Award for the Joke of the Day! 😉

Nic.....providing we get a CBA. I recall that is the agreement.

luvn has his position, I have mine. luvn is perfectly capable of defending his position, and he did it without coming up with any lies about 767one's situation.

No, I am not going to beat you senseless...I will simply point out the inaccuracies and/or lies in your posts. Easy to do cause they are full of them.
