AUG/SEPT 2012 US Pilots Labor Discussion

Luvn,

Just as I posted. I have voted on every item that was presented to me by the union so I will vote even if the chance comes along on my last day. To take your logic a bit further do you think a person who is 105 should not vote just because they might not be around to reap the benefits (if any) of the results of the vote?

Bob
When the person turns 106 he's still a citizen. Once you retire, you cease to have any relationship with the US pilot group, to put it bluntly, you don't exist. There's no maybe about it. If you get a chance to vote on anything immediately prior to your retirement, you should do the honorable thing and abstain.

Said the guy who elected a scab to represent him.

We're going to fix that...he's not happy. Showed his rear at the back of the meeting this morning when he found out we are going to throw him and his buddies out...WITH PREJUDICE.

Wow! Let's see now; The man's been in this business likely longer than you've even been alive...yet you feel perfectly entitled to......Nevermind....Words just fail me here!...It's like trying to even imagine the thought processes of an entirely alien species!

Perhaps he has a relationship with the fellow aviators he has worked with these past decades which transcends retirement and union membership status. Perhaps he wishes to support their cause until the day he leaves. Perhaps if he has the right to vote he sees it as an obligation to vote. And until this dispute is behind us and we share cockpits, perhaps his fellow aviators do not yet include you.

BTW, do you tell BB the same thing?

Sure, like you will do the same in his shoes, dh.
Bob is one of the most respected pilots by his brothers here on the East. I am sure you would not comprehend that concept, tho.

Keep your weak BS to yourself....you are showing where your loyalities lie with your West group.....you guys believe in self promotion, only.

767 one should tell Luvn737 to pound sand and vote the way he wants to the last minute. The western group has been indoctrinated to feel entitled to all things. Including personal votes. Their seniority scheme is the most blatant.
Franke selected an especially strange group to hire.

"Including personal votes." Mind-boggling indeed....That's just plain past even the furthest possible threshold of "WTF"?/You've just GOTTA' be kidding me!!!.....??? 😉

Luvn737s: "If you get a chance to vote on anything immediately prior to your retirement, you should do the honorable thing and abstain"

I can't help but be further amazed by not only the astonishing level of inherent arrogance, but the truly bizzare notions on what's "honorable" to do. Since when is it EVER "honorable" to refuse legitimate participation in any election one can vote in and has beliefs about? Abstaining from voting one's beliefs, just because a given issue/election/etc doesn't directly effect one's self?....Now..there's a true-blue-American perspective in action....Not! 😉

Bean,

Idiot & steal ........hmmmm.......seems to be beneath you and too early for the juice!
I seem to recall Dean Collello a mid summer 88 hire. Remind us again since you seem to be repeating this theft mantra.........the year you started at AWA .

FA

Hmmmm, remind us where Dean was when our merger was announced.

I have a better idea. The BPR has got to go NOW. We will start with the CLT reps. The recall is underway as we speak.

Upps...dupe. I didn't see the other post about the recall.
Sorry pal, these boys are going nowhere, however the compass boys are looking to get rid of Hummel.

Why is it ALWAYS so easy to induce defensive, evasive and belligerent squirming, whenever anyone simply asks when your most vocal posters actually started work at AWA? 😉 I'd think, by the tone of the postings over time, that you would all be Nic-Proud, and above any possible embarrassment. 😉

"Showed his rear at the back of the meeting this morning" You now have no credibility he was not even at the meeting today nice try, Hummel is very desperate the sooner we get rid of him the better, that MOU was a POS. RECALL HUMMEL NOW, He is working for the company, NOT the pilots.

Your scab outfit is toast. Soon to be the smoking hole known as "The Great Scab Crater" that's where you'll find the smoldering remains of your sh** career. Well done. Nothing is more amusing than watching your little, pointless, irrelevant scab group twist in the wind, infighting, failure after failure....all to get the Nic award in the end. Brilliant.
