It's taken you this long to figure that out?....Seriously? Did even the possibility of such never honestly occur to you folks long ago? Your bunch stuck to your "No fences!...NO negotiation! (even for an unworkable travesty!)...Take NO east prisoners!"/etc. Whew! What honestly baffles me most here is the constant whining, even after 5 years+ have passed now.

A disgusting (and almost unbelievable) amount of self righteous, west ranting has taken place here in those 5 years+. A general theme from earlier times was that of the east not "taking responsibility" for their "choices". Isn't it about time you actually tried doing that for yourself? 😉 Whining's never been shown to be an effective instrument for initiating any positive change...just sayin'.....

I took your post to mean two guys progressing on the same list. I'm talking about standalone progression vs the Nicolau progression. Does that help or are you intentionally being obtuse?

Yes, he is being obtuse. He presumes, in his scenario, that all East and West pilots stay on the list in perpetuity without accelerating disperity among those on the list, which of course is false, as a much larger percentage of East pilots will drop of the list and establish an acceleration of relative positions for the West. He appears to be more skilled at willful ignorance than at math.
