Perhaps, I guess I should have just stuck to commenting on the part of your post that said you are ready and willing to cross a USAPA picket line and your derogatory reference to the mentally challenged.

seajay

Wasn't me it was luvn's post...and the 99 hours/month was an implied reference that if usapa were released he would indeed work.

Your comment about West pilots on furlough made no sense in that context.

If not for the T/A I think the west would have been reduced much more.

No kidding?

So, what are you saying? That the company has to abide by the TA? That a union inherits the contracts of the predecessor union?

OMG...the over the top revelations...now Phoenix will be happy that I have moved us all forward to a nice new Nic-inclusive contract.

And he said that AWA would most likely enter Ch 11. Think you would have still gotten your orders? The merger kept the airplanes coming and Parker didn't do the merger out of the goodness of his heart.

Okay...I will concede the stolen airplanes part, but that proves my point about the disproportionate furloughs.

Post merger we are one company, the company takes orders and redistributes them throughout the fleet.

Yet. we as one company need to reduce flying and furlough 300 pilots, that too should have been distributed evenly which would have been more like 200 east and 100 West ...not 175 West and 125 east.

When? A few months down the road? Years? And then how long could we have stayed in bankruptcy. You of all people should know that. Many, many years of floundering as the worst case scenario for us.

You?

Liquidation.

Your point? When we went into Chp 11 we reduced hulls. Parker has been one of the biggest proponents of reducing capacity. Do you really think you would have stayed the same size? Do you really think Ames would have kept his captain seat absent a merger? Silly me, of course you would have, you were the powerhouse America West!

Absolutely correct, the COMPANY redistributes them where they think they can make the most money with them, within the restrictions of min fleet and block hours. They thought they could figure block hours one way, the union grieved it and WON. We are both now at or within one or two hulls of min fleet. Our flying required less of a reduction than yours did-SEPARATE OPS, again.

And you douche bags need to remember that the lost Parker has in hand,,at this moment is....

...what for it....

....the Nic.

Can't wait to see what he does to your USAPA fantasy list when you guys present that. Maybe they'll ouch it back across the table like last time.

LMAO.

We'd be flying and you'd be on the street.

Maybe. No one can say for sure what would have happened, but the odds are (and Parker says) that had we all been on the street then many more of you would have been too.

Calm down there you old f'er.

Keep your spin going boys, its all you got.

1) No worries there. Unlike yourself it seems; I'm looking forward to another very enjoyable day of life. 🙂 A suggestion for you would be to try the same, without ever predicating happiness on some fantasized future of, in even your latest guess, at least two years away,....if ever.

2) That's indeed your case, but take heart. You additionally have yet another magnificent legal triumph to celebrate! I'm just surprised AOL, in it's apparently newly-discovered modesty, hasn't yet been loudly trumpeting this latest, incredible success to all your supporters in "the rest of the world" and the heavens above! Perhaps there's some small difficulty in couching it in terms suitable to accompany the usual requests for neverending donations?...Or are you folks patiently preparing yet another imaginative, mailed missive that's once again certain to bring the evil east to their knees? 😉

No, I apologized for the nasty name in light of Pi's feeling it was a jab at children (it obviously wasn't). As far as crossing the picket line, consider the irony of USAPA's actions towards the west and the east poster's justification for the support of same.

Here is another fact for you....there are east pilots flying IAE powered America West orders that the east has taken delivery of, and from what I understand you getting more next year, so you have stolen not only jobs, but aircraft as well.

The cheapskates went to IAE on every jet you dunce. Even the 330.

[background=rgb(252, 252, 252)]Vacation once again.......well, you've really got something over on me.......NOT! You're miserable contract is a millimeter better than ours.......for what.......6-7 years. I've been here 28........care to compare those other 21-22 years.........oh okay. I didn't think so. Take your stupid arguments and rag on someone else. You PMS worse than my wife. Your NIC is an abomination......fair and equitable......only in your mind.[/background]

Look what I found here...another clueless idiot...hey your name ain't Dan Davis is it?

Got a clue for you...that Nic "abomination"...well lets just say...FU junior....28 years????..that is all???? only 28 years??? oh, shiiiit, you can do the walk around in the rain even if usapa gets you DOH you scab. Want some more, that is how long you watched your career go downhill...you are a complete moron.

Dan Davis is a hero.

Hey "NOTHING HAS CHANGED" When is the move?

If the company really wanted the Nicolau Award implemented, they should have done so 5 years ago. Instead, they thought they would be clever and saw an opportunity to milk hundreds of millions in savings by allowing this dispute to fester. Parker and Kirby have made it clear on numerous occassions that the pilots and/or the courts will need to resolve this dispute and they have gone on record and in public arguing the same. Now it's too late to go from neutral to partisan - although they tried with the Declaratory Judgement.

Judge Silver's ruling leaves little doubt that the Nicolau Award will never be memorialized in Section 22 of any JCBA.

But what they (Parker) can say is "Fellas, it won't be DOH either. We just can't risk a DFR and you need to figure something else out." If the merger goes forward, I would not be surprised if he does just that since Silver put the ball back in his court. If the merger does not proceed, he will continue with his 'awe shucks' routine for as long as possible.

This time around I hope USAPA has a plan B ready.
