Silver will not rule until this thing is done. The judge does not want to be overruled or corrected by the 9th and she does not want to hold up the merger. That would bring her much negative attention.
IMO, when the new seniority list is finished, she will revisit the issue with a hearing to find out how everyone made out in the deal.
Then, using the 'wide range of reasonableness' standard, she will most probably dismiss the case.
In the meantime, no more lawsuits, injunctions, or other roadblocks for the deal to go through.

When usapa is dead and buried will you easties take money out of your pockets to continue your losing battle? when there is no longer forced taxes I seriously doubt you eastie will have much support.

I have a suggestion for you CD... but first a comment... you Leo guys/gals have been herded into a no-way-out canyon... (comment) So why don't you just bypass Leo and send the money directly to their attorneys for their next grand vacation, house addition or new Jag... (suggestion)

OK! Sure. A federal judge appointed for life worries about negative attention. And federal judges simply ignore the cases in front of them and wait for them to just go away. Federal judges don't like hard cases like murder and such so they just close their eyes and hope they go away.

My opinion is she will wait until the POR to rule. That way the ripeness issue is taken care of. No more "contingent" contract.

The ninth did not say we had to wait for a completed second round of seniority integration. The ninth said a ratified contract is all that is needed.

Plus have you ever heard the term justice delayed is justice denied. Waiting another two years would get real expensive for the company and APA.

How about you don't worry about what the west pilots do with our money. What difference does it make to you?

You should be more concerned about what your union is doing with the forced extortion they collect.

Why did you bring up the notion of Leospanker giving up? Why did you bring up the reality that USAPA will no longer exist and will have no money?

Are you boasting in the passion to spend your pay raises to pursue a lawsuit against a defunct and moneyless organization?!

Waiting makes the issue more easily dismissed and keeps the troublemakers at bay.

Now I don't know if you're trying to be antagonistic, or serious? I will say that USAPA has gotten good at causing delays in the seniority integration, but four more years.?? I'm not even sure if they can drag it out to 2 more years.

When usapa goes away it will be a good day and worth the money spent to protect the west and not allow a rogue union to step on our rights.
