Prechilillll, please read my previous post with the cut and paste. As I read it, 190 flying CANNOT count as minimum block hours on the East, but CAN on the West. I have been wrong before, so I await your correction. RR

I see what you are looking at. Block mins qualified as GP 2 and above for AA and east. Nothing for west. So, does this mean a west 190 PHL base?

I am currently attending A330 Initial in CLT. I would like to make one point here......you West pilots accuse USAPA and the East pilots of holding you back from your ability to upgrade to the European theater......well, that's total BS! Your own AWE contract prohibits your from flying to Europe and back.....and has nothing to do with what is going on with the East pilots and their stance on the SLI......If you want to have the ability to fly full International flights, you need to change your AWE contract with the company. Quit blaming the East pilots.....you fukin entitlement whiners! Gawd, and you call us greedy! The bottom line is that your AWE contract with the company doesn't allow you to fly flights as far as to Europe and back!!!! For example, if you flew PHX to CLT, to Paris, back to CLT.......you would contractually be dead in CLT and couldn't continue to PHX! Why? It's in your freakin AWE contract!!!! The company will never support his kind of operation cause it is too costly to bring a crew from PHX to cover an European trip. The WHOLE problem to the solution is that the West pilots WILL NOT negotiate with anyone....what greed!

You and luvthe9 can quit begging the West to come off the Nicolau Award.

This will be over soon.
OK, my traitor friend......where did I do any begging? These are facts! If you don't like them maybe you should re-evaluate your position! The bottom line for the west pilots is that they want any new contract that changes where they currently are with Parker, because he has them by the balls. An AWE contract that keeps them at the bottom of the industry and doesn't allow them to do much INTL flying. On top of that, they want the NIC lottery ticket......what the hell, shoot for the moon!. Traitor, their own contract is holding them back....so what do they do? accuse the East for their woes in hope that Judge Silver with cut them some slack. Now, which side of the street would you like to stand on? Bottom line......if the West pilot would have EVER, EVER, considered working out a compromise, gaining a new contract with Parker, and accepting anything at all, other than sticking to the NIC and claiming their magical lottery ticket, they would have been a lot better off than they find themselves today. Yet they stand by their guns and blame USAPA and the East for their woes!

So.....IMHO......it's just one more reason for the west pilots to stick to their guns......NEVER negotiate anything less, and hope that they at least land somewhere on the target paper (no bulls eye ever promised) in achieving their goal for leap frogging in their Mesa career..... which Jonathan Ornstein instilled in their localized minds, while charging them $50k each, and promising them moon. What a disappointment that must be......paying Ornstein $50k, just to be handed off to Parker! Gawd, I would feel desperate too!

After 6-7 years of having the 190 exclusively on the east coast. After the west pilots have asked and demanded our share of the 190 and being told never in PHX. Now the company is suddenly going to put them in PHX.

Your lack of logic always amazes me.

Rumor I heard was the west 319 would go back east and the east 321 would move to PHX. Couple reasons. West does more trans con. East does more short commuter hops. Other reason is lower repair costs to the 321 out west.

You question MY logic? All we have heard for years is "binding is binding "the honor your obligations "but you don't want to honor the 190 arbitration. Whiner.

It seems some people forget USAPA claims to represent ALL the pilots of US Airways. For some reason, some people have the impression their seniority is worth more than other dues paying members. They act childish and call people names.

The Membership Services Comittee is staffed by East, West and third listers. Some people conclude USAPA is securing "their" seniority.

Occasionally they have to be put in their place with a friendly reminder.

USAPA,

I just received report in the mail regarding Agency Fee Policy. Please tell me this went to everyone.

Can you please confirm my membership - in good standing - as this report has me thinking you guys have me mixed up with some west dooshbags.

"I'm a 1989 hire, still live in PIT, and pay my dues everyday.

Now let's get out there and secure our seniority!

Thank you for all of your hard work.

Sincerely,

Mike CLT F/O"

"Hi Michael,

As a member of the Membership Services Committee, I received your email regarding the Agency Fee Policy letter sent to the membership.

I forwarded your Email to the Secretary-Treasurer, and Dues Collection Chairman, as this is their specialty, not our Committee's. They should be able to answer your question.

A few comments though, If I may:

First: On page one, at the top, the brochure is addressed to "ALL PILOTS EMPLOYED BY USAIRWAYS".

Second: You sent your email to a Committee made up of five Pilots, all of whom are members in good standing of USAPA. One is an "East" pilot, two are "West" pilots, and two are "Third Listers". It does help to know who the recipients of email are before you hit send.

Third: If you are going to insult someone, spelling does count. Douchebag is spelled "D-O-U-C-H-E-B-A-G".

I'm sure USAPA will be doing their best to secure all of our seniority in the upcoming binding arbitration with the APA.

Have a great weekend."

$68,450 to be exact, paid in cash.

Flying is a hobby🙂

Breeze lost me with his opening line. I don't know what difference it makes he's in initial on the A330.
Miss my Dodge Demon. Paid $400. Drove it 80K. (160,000 0n the meter) Lady slammed me into the rail. Got $600.00 from her insurance. Been going downhill ever since.

Hey moron. Who negotiates for the west pilots.

You got one thing correct. Usapa can't negotiate with anyone.
