Sorry if I'm getting off the track of seniority. I just have to say that I hope once we're American pilots, among other things, we start staying in better hotels. I just stayed at the Renaissance Harborside in Vancouver BC, just this week, very nice hotel. I noticed an Air Canada crew after checking in and a Delta pilot sat next to me during breakfast. Why is it that Air Canada pilots, Delta pilots, Alaska pilots and meager staff accountants stay at nice hotels and US Airways pilots don't??? Since we spend a good deal of our lives in hotels, we should be staying in decent hotels, at least as good as those that our counterparts at other airlines stay. OK, before I go off on quality rest and fatigue, I'll step off the soap box.

Next some mighty "spartan" fruitbat's likely to re-post a video of "King Leonidas" roaring out "This is Sparta!" and "dispatching" a "Cupcake" 😉 "Spartans", "knights", "dire wolves" and even "Larry Potta"..and now a "Hangman"!!! This place just aint safe!

So, I suppose all must now add "brave and mysterious cowboy"s to the west's little "army" roster? 😉 I can't even begin to guess what's next...maybe "jedi Knights"?...Naw, you've already got a "knights who've fought with valor" fantasy going on out there....So...what's it to be...Transformers?...GI Joe action figure "heros"...perhaps a few of the characters from Toy Story? I just give up here. 🙂

Unfortunately; the trend at AMR has been very much downward there as well. i thiink it wise for all to assume that any gains will have to be accomplished in direct and formidable opposition to management wishes.

🙂 I could only wish, since today involved some semblance of honest work on other projects, and far from the "pups". You just never get all the time needed for the people that matter to you, it seems.

Unfortunately; the trend at AMR has been very much downward there as well. i thiink it wise for all to assume that any gains will have to be accomplished in direct and formidable opposition to management wishes.

In another words, since I've got 25 years left, I should put my stuff in at Delta or Alaska. Oh well, maybe I can get dual citizenship and apply to Air Canada since I know a check airman. I had enough of garbage hotels with six years at a commuter, not to mention my AWA/US time. Some of the hotels AWA stayed at were pretty nice however.

I read this to mean the POR date is set for probably Friday sept. 27th. Additionally I read it to mean the company expects it to be a three way. How Silver might accomplish this is still in question. IF it ends up a three way (however that may come to be) I think that will get rid of the NIC for good. I think in effect it will be a court ruling that is stating that AWA and US never completed a merger and now we would all start again using the 3 lists as they appear on Sept. 27th (or whenever the POR is) Of course there will be yelling and screaming from some on both sides, but when the dust settles it might be the quickest way to solve the issues. Guess we will see what silver has in mind in a little over a month from now.

In your opinion the court is going to ignore the last eight years? That even if usapa is found liable of DFR to the west she will give them a pass like it never happened?

Find usapa guilty but allow usapa the redo that they have been demanding for the last 6 years?

That the court will ignore final and binding arbitration letting an angry party avoid arbitration giviing anyone a legal out?

The quickest way to settle this is for the court to issue an injunction that forces usapa to use the arbitrated list that usapa knew they inherited.
