Possibly the best thing to happen to our flying careers just got torpedoed by a corrupt government and you're still focused on seniority?

I say we find out how we can help management fight this. The east and west are great at fighting. How about a temporary truce to focus on our real enemy, the DOJ. Do we have a chance at beating the DOJ? Probably not, but what they are doing is wrong. The east loves a cause and the west doesn't like getting kicked around. Whats a good rally cry?

Both an interesting and amusing situation to now consider: 24th and Court's in session...Umm...Today's trial is predicated on events that've not happened and may well never take place...but let's just have some fun anyway...? 😉

We do have to admit that USAPA did enter into an agreement so Silver's question technically can still be asked, but of course a DFR breach usually is accompanied by harm and even if Silver finds harm to be unnecessary for a DFR will she find a value for damages?

Could it now dawn on Marty that Silver is forced to rule there is in fact no harm associated with contingent agreements and she will dismiss with prejudice?

There really is no reason for Silver to delay. Events have only served to make her judgement even more obvious.

Same here, looking at the positives. My family has managed to live healthy (thank goodness) and happy for all these years despite the low pay. And just watching Silver's ripe argument get the once over is also something to look forward to. And still, no NIC. And a delay in flying in those horrible dentist chair seats I hear about, with no headrests. Like in the Life of Brian, try to look on the brighter side of life! RR

Sure, no NIC yet. No DOH yet. No RICO either. No money. No addition time off / vacation. Retirees leaving CLT, DCA & PHL supported the DOH dream, and it only cost them each $500,000+ each. Rainbows and unicorns will keep you boys happy. Who needs reason, logic, a moral compass, a better schedule, and $$?

Perhaps best addressed by Ringo Starr: "Anything government touches turns to crap." The remainder of your post I certainly agree with, but can't honestly imagine happening under the current conditions. I've been wrong before, and maybe some people could come up with much more helpful notions than my thoughts here.
