You are a fool. The first merger saved both airlines, this merger would have stabilized us for the long run. Maybe you don't care , because you're about to retire. If so, you'll be retiring on LOA93. Yes, what a crock.

Last I checked, you were still on LOA93 as well.

But you could actually do something about your dilema here. You could actually quit and then you wouldn't have to be associated with so many people that have no integrity. But then again, to do that would actually require some integrity, no?

If you're not having a melt down, you're either independently wealthy or a complete fool. I personally do not want to have to use a backup career and am disgusted by what the DOJ is attempting to do.

Bean, you must try to imagine life many years down the highway than your present point of travel. A degree of pragmatism and acceptance of life/the world/et-al necessarily develops along the way.

I fully share your disgust with government meddling here. Who's palms weren't properly greased, we'll likely never know, but it's hugely unimpressive that Team Tempe's once more, at least for now, completely fumbled the merger football.

Agreed, there is probably not much that can be done other than acceptance. Once the feeling of total disgust with our current government wears off I'll move on. Thanks for the advice.
