Chapter 11, not Chapter 7 like us.

Everything changes in a merger.

Should the USAir pilots been fenced off the 767s forever?

No they should not.

Glad you recognize that everything changes in a merger. The money brought in kept us from Chp 7 and them from Chp 11. No, the US pilots should not have been kept from the 767s forever, but a time.

Don't forget. As cited by USAPA in our filings. The CAL F/As overrode an arbitrated decision and placed Frontier F/As (on the street, out of business) on their list DOH. Members of the union sued and lost. DOH was allowed and protected by the courts, even extending to a group that was on the street. But this is nothing new, simply look back decades to what happened with the Mohawk pilots.

You can be sure one of Judge Silver's clerks read that decision of law.

Who were closer to closing the doors forever?

USAirways or America West?

If USAirways disappeared would every other airline benefited including America West?

Did you know United attempted to merge with America West?

Appearently United thought they weren't totally worthless.

Did UA merge with AWA? If not, I guess they weren't worth it. AWA didn't have the money to benefit from US shutting down, or they would have let it. Just because the government gave you Dad a second chance doesn't mean the rest of us should pay for it.

Hmmmm... and the West filed a status report that the talks ordered by Silver failed... Hmmmm.

Ask the West guys.

What does my Dad getting a second chance have to do with anything?

I was against those guys getting preferiential hiring.

It's the only thing that can help me reconcile with your logic.

Speaking of preferential hiring, how did you get a chance to get hired with US Airways.

Your dad was a scumbag. He stapled Empire pilots to the very bottom of the Piedmont list. He used his influence to get out before the retirement went to the PBGC and got you the job at US Airways. He was the problem with pilot profession, personal greed. Glad he is gone, Chip Munn and your daddy had a lot in common. Some woman are attracted to such pigs and marry them and have children.

Incorrect.

In the dispatchers case the west dispatchers were going to get a big raise and better contract. That is the reason the east dispatchers got DOH.

In the case of the pilots the east pilots got a big raise and better contract. Thus not DOH.

What did the East pilots gain on their contract with you west pilots? You will not answer this truthfully. Make my day.

Your dad was a scumbag.

Okay Clax, that is out of line.

I didn't know Jake's Dad, but know several that did and have never heard a bad word about him.

TJ and I disagree about somethings and had a small issue while flying together, but have come to terms with it and will not claim that he is anything but a good pilot and good employee.

We all disagree sometimes, and basically all want to be right.

We all know how you got your job also, that is why it bugs you. Deal with it.
