Mike are you ready to give up your lie that you don't even work for us airways yet?

Ready to admit you are full of crap?

If you don't work for us airways and are not a member of usapa how would you know what is on the usapa web site?

Running a gym is a lot of work. I will probably be returning to you soon now that it is up and running.

Burden of proof on you. You said the MOU is a JCBA, and it said it in the MOU. Where? Provide the page and line.

Read Lyle Hogg's May update on the merger... "The MOU becomes the MTA at POR"
There is no voting on the MTA (if you could read you would know this), as well as the JCBA (again, if you have any reading comprehension you would know this). So, we voted on the MOU which morphs into the MTA and 90 days later its a JCBA. No voting required. Get it???

Bean, I was there. The reps had worked long and hard and in some cases had a few heated exchanges over this issue. The reps really tried to come to a fair agreement. Among other things the LTD folks would garner an offset because of this so why give them full shares? Others , like the new hires did not even vote on this money ( signing bonus ).
Another issue was that the company and the union said in the MOU and roadshows that the average pilot could expect about a 9 to 10K sum because of this. This was without the hindsight of how many new hires would be here. If everyone gets a full piece of the 40mil then the average pilot share would be lowered and then the entire group would feel shorted. The reps tried to give the fairest distribution possible with numerous constraints to deal with. They probably debated this issue over 8 hours total so I would hope everyone would feel that the end result is one that was vetted thoroughly and compromised fairly.

Thanks for the info. Obviously I wasn't there, just read the e-mail updates as they came out.

...., making the intimation that we are the only holders of "scabs", ...

No "intimation" needed there, as it's established fact that goes so far as being supported by an industry-wide and generally accepted listing of such noble creatures, yet your bunch childishly and incorrectly employs that derogatory term towards others, who are without the same "proud heritage"and actual scab infestation. What's that say about you?

Anytime I've ever seen the term "scab" used by west pilots; it's unfailingly called to mind the image of some five year old child shouting an obscenity that they themselves didn't understand, just to see the effect it had on the adults present.

America West pilots - management tools dragging the pilot profession into the gutter:

"I would say at least 90% of the UAL pilots won't even acknowledge the CAL pilots in passing, so stop the "we are holier than you guys" crap. You like JP as much as you like the rest of us. You're actions towards us speaks volumes. Lee Mata is one of the few on here that acts civilized towards us. Maybe you should follow his lead."

Or try this:

"I just think it's pretty sad when a pilot, regardless of who they fly for, doesn't have the common courtesy to say hello or acknowledge the other pilot. Last week in LAX, my FO and I were walking down a very narrow corridor and a UAL pilot was walking in the opposite direction. It was impossible for them to not see us as they had to move to the side as we passed...... I said "hello United Captain" as they passed. I stopped and turned around to see their reaction. They stopped, looked at me, and gave me a "go to hell" look. Wow....very "unifying" and professional. So, who is the enemy here? Hurt my feelings? Nope, just think it's a strange way of supporting each other since we ARE on the same team, believe it or not."

Not good enough. Where in the MOU is it? Not Hoggs letter, Siegles letter anyone's letter.
The bottom line is it isn't there. Metro lied. Gee, what a surprise.

Cupcake,
Did I confuse you? I KNOW that we have pilots in PHX that flew Ansett flying. I KNOW that we had/have some Wien scabs in PHX.

Claxon waves that flag like YOU (east) don't have a single scab in CLT, PHL or DCA. What you seem to forget is there are people in those bases that are listed on MSL.

I use scab to describe a person just as Jack London. I have all kinds of other names for people that refuse to abide by a final and binding merger process, change the union name to evade the same, and also persecute many of our pilots in the attempt to weaken our resolve.

Dirtbag is the nicest one I can use here. Dirtbag.
