August 2013 Pilot Discussion

Is there a discussion going on elsewhere (or should one be started here) regarding the approaching CLT elections? The period for nominees is open. Will it be the usual suspects? Does it matter at this point in time?

I think it does matter. It probably won't affect the merger with American too much, but these will be out initial reps for our domiciles under the APA once the merger is complete and the APA fully takes control of representing all pilots...

If we didn't fight we would end up with DOH (with your pathetic conditions and restrictions). The literal kiss of death to 95% of AWA pilots. So, fight we will to the end which in my estimation, is coming soon.
I guess that's what happens when you don't bring much to the merger.

Amen brother

Be serious. You know it's a windfall. If it wasn't, you wouldn't feel the need to fight so hard for it.

By the way, one of the neutrals DID NOT agree with your premise.

Oh Billy.....
Yes, pilot neutral did state that he disagreed with some of the award. BUT, he also stated "Finally I would like to a reaffirm my opinion that the Chairman Nicolau demonstrated exceptional judgment and wisdom working through many very difficult and challenging issues including the disparate aircraft types, routes, compensation systems, and pilot staffing formulas to mention just a few. It has been a privilege to work together with Chairman Nicolau and Captain Gillen on this Opinion and Award."

Your opinion (and mine) don't count. The three parties (US Air, America West & LCC) signed on the dotted line. Done. Finished. Complete. Final. Binding. So simple that you should have no trouble getting it.

You WON'T be getting anything near the Nic. Count on it, Pound Cake.

What is even more hilarious is the fact that before that list is useable it has to be ratified by 2 "separate " pilot groups and put into a joint collective bargaining agreement, (NEVER DONE), then ALPA changes their merger policy, the 9th and judge SILVER said it does not have to be used and ALPA denies it has to be used in the "NAUGHLER CASE"! Then LOA 83( the T/A) is voted on and changed overwhelmingly by PHX! Yes folks there was a provision to change the T/A! So yes it is shelved and dream on! PLEEZ Marty needs your money I suggest the next 6 paychecks!

Done. Finished. Complete. Really. Honest it is. For sure. Please pay attention. Please... Can we just bid East mow... Hello..? Hello...? Hello..? Pleeeeease...?

Here's all the discussion you need. They'll be jingoistic, jihadi lunatics that refuse any meaningful participation or input regarding fair representation. The exact names are not important.

AA

Is there an underlying message to your flurry of posts here, a point you are trying to make, a side you now declare to support in our pissing contest?

A declaration of support for one side?

The sides went away when you (all of you) clowns agreed to binding arbitration. There are no sides to support. Just one LCC pilot seniority list.

As far a your pissing contest comment, I wouldn't call it a pissing contest, but rather some doctorate level work in assholery.

Sure, the pool is yellow... But you guys made it that way. We're all about to jump in with the coming SLI process....

A brief history lesson. The reason there are two distinct lists currently in effect at LCC, with separate bidding, bases and different pay - is because the Nic was never implemented and could not be implemented without a ratification vote explicitly accepting the Nic in Section 22 (seniority) of our JCBA (LCC JCBA), which we never completed.

The process was never completed and has been eclipsed by the merger with you. The old dispute ended in a stalemate with neither Nic nor DOH prevailing.

The next, conolidated, New American seniority list has not yet been crafted. The process to do so is about to begin under the umbrella of McKaskill Bond, unless a negotiated settlement is reached first.

The time you've worked at AA may not mean much to you, but it pisses many of us off over here when a former union or arbitrator dismisses it as worthless. So be sure not to include your time with AA as part of your opener.
