well thats what happens when you dont have enough ramp agents because of the damage done during the two flights thru ch11! and the pay is low so does mgmt reallly think they would keep new hires?

SKY HIGH states: watched a captain lose his cool in PHL the other day. Passengers on the jetway waiting for their strollers for THEIR CHILDREN. Aircraft was marshalled in and that was it. NO ONE near the aircraft for OVER 20 minutes. Captain kept calling AND going down to the ramp to wave someone over to open the cargo bins. NO ONE CAME!!!

EMBARASSING & UNACCEPTABLE. Flight attendants, now that overheads have become less congested......PLEASE CONSIDER BRINGING STROLLERS ONBOARD. (Especially INBOUND TO PHILLY).

only posting an opinion.

<SNIP>CWA is pushing for the language in federal airport rage law, adopted by Congress after an active legislative campaign by CWA, to be posted at all airports.
Okay, just what is the new proposed Air Rage Law?

<SNIP>But Tina Perry, president of CWA Local 13301 in Philadelphia, is concerned that US Airways management isn't giving airport rage the attention it deserves.
"Management insists that rage is a 'non-problem' that can be handled by calling the police, having a manager step in, or 'walking away,'" Perry said.
So Congress writes more laws. You would still be calling the police, right?

Just the normal everyday happenings in PHL, this stuff has been going on for years and it looks like our new (lame-duck) management is not going to fix it like the promised they could or (would).

A complete embarassment to all of our hard working employees throughout the system..........

Come on Parker and Co. get it together, admit you can't fix it and get our connecting customers out of there....

And everyone thought Ed Colodny did'nt know what he was talking about.... http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/pittsburghtrib/s_209004.html

Here's a key quote from the article:

"An efficient hub is still the most cost-effective way to run an airline,'' Rick DeLisi said. "Every single low-fare carrier runs an efficient hub. The only way a hub doesn't work is if it is run inefficiently.''
