Big Ape Pit Rampers

I just came back from PIT the other day and realized after all this time that the rampers are really big and hairy. What have they been eating? What is the usual ethnic background of a PIT ramper? I thought I was hairy. Mongo stack bags... you throw bags to Mongo!

I resemble that remark!

Maybe its the over-sized fried fish sandwiches and french fries that they eat every friday.

I have never in my life seen fish sandwiches as large as whats served in the PIT area.

The PIT ramp and gate agents are the absolute best in the airline. From my perch, if the outside crews don't show up or don't do their jobs correctly, it makes my job that much more difficult and frustrating. The PIT employees are always a breath of fresh air because they are 100% on task, they know their jobs, and they always perform exceptionally well. Makes my job that much easier to accomplish.
I thank them and applaud them for their dedication during these turbulent times.
KUDOS!

Do you remember a local beer called Old Dutch? It was made from corn. Drank a couple of those and had a hangover worse than many others.

Old Dutch. The cans called it "The Good Beer". $6.75 for a case of returnable bottles. Haven't seen it since my college days, but I have fond memories.

You are so right on the money. I do alot of red eyes from LAX and let me tell you, it feels damn good to roll into the gate in the middle of a beautiful PIT sunrise just before 7AM and have a ramp crew in place and an agent already on the jetway waiting for us.
