Bill O'Reilly agrees with President Obama to increase minimum wage

Spoken like a true Dumacrat! Always blaming others for their failures.

What part of his statement is untrue?

You do understand that congress has the power of the purse. Only when congress passes CR's does the President have discretion over where money is spent, not the amount of money spent. Congress always gives the President the amount of money to spend.

700 and Obama can blame congress all they want.  Does Obama sign the spending bill congress passes? Please check box yes or no.

I know what a line item veto is.  That doesn't change the fact that Obama can veto the entire bill and send it back to congress, but the anointed one would never do that.
You wanted him to veto the bipartisan bill just passed?

Back on topic.

Do you support a minimum wage increase?

Yep, if that's what it takes to cut government spending, but alas its not going to happen with the king of big government.

And no I don't support a minimum wage hike.  Let the free market determine somebodies worth.  This is America people survival of the fittest!

So the budget passed with bipartisan support is Obama, the king of big government?

Free market has done well for the middle class...in China and India...and the uber rich in the USA.

If you truly believe in free market, then why not let the airlines hire the cheapest workers they can from wherever possible? Open up the global market to foreign pilots, mechanics, F/A's.

After all, market rules.

Well Obama would surely never sign any bill that didn't increase govern spending now would he?  And the GOP gets blamed for a govern shutdown to decrease spending, so what king Obama wants he gets.

I agree, why not let business decide how much they value a worker or how replaceable they are.  If a person doesn't like their workplace, the door is right in front of them. If a business hires the worst of the worst that company won't be in business very long.

Lol

Explain to the board how someone can survive and support themselves and a family on $7.25 an hour before taxes.

So if they work 40 hours they gross $290.00 a week and gross $15,080 a year before taxes.

Hate to tell you this but thats poverty.

I'd say they made pretty poor choices in life pumping out too many babies they cannot afford to take care of.  If someone wants a family they need to be able to afford it with a specialized work skill or education.

The one thing people will learn after this Obama presidency is that people will always be poor whether you vote Democrat or Republican.  This difference is with a Republican economy you will have "choices" to better your life with more job options if you take action/responsibility to pursue it.

Typical, yep, thats right, thats everyone making minimum wage.

Unreal.

Strengthening State Policies for Working Families
Millions of American breadwinners work hard to support their families. But, despite their effort, almost one in three working families are mired in low-wage jobs that provide inadequate benefits and offer little opportunity for advancement and economic security. Compounding the problem are public policies that do not adequately prepare workers to advance to higher-skilled, higher-paying jobs or promote the creation of quality jobs.

While the U.S. economy has shown some signs of recovery—the U.S. unemployment rate has dipped below 8 percent from 10 percent three years ago—the economic outlook for many working families is bleak. New data from the U.S. Census Bureau show that the number of low-income working families in the United States increased to 10.4 million in 2011, up from 10.2 million a year earlier.

This means that nearly one third of all working families—32 percent—may not have enough money to meet basic needs. At the same time, inequality among working families is increasing, as higher-income families receive a larger share of income relative to families at the bottom of the income distribution.

Survival of the fittest huh?

if you or your family gets sick, what then?

I am sure you will never accept, or ask for any help for any Governmental entity.

Where in the hell does it say that you should even begin to think about raising a family on $7.25 an hour?

OOOhhh.......... I see, have the family first, then get a job and complain it's not enough to raise the family you had, before you got the job , then force business owners to pay more for your inadequacy at managing your life events!

Again, I'll state, Flipping burgers for a living is not what I would consider a lifetime job. It was a stepping stone to a better job, with better pay, for people who would assert themselves!

But, then again, using 700's "Praise Obama Chart" and adding in the 2.6% of job seekers who finally gave up looking, I'm sure , right now it's hard to find a job at all, with over a 9% unemployment rate!
