Still waiting for someone to post how an increase in minimum wage cuts jobs.

WASHINGTON — President Obama's call to raise the federal minimum wage could help lift 900,000 workers out of poverty, but at a cost of as many as 500,000 jobs, according to an analysis released today by the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office.

A Gallup poll released Monday showed that nearly one in four Americans say that jobs and unemployment are their top concern, underscoring Democrats' sensitivity to the CBO's conclusion that a wage increase could result in job losses.

Amazing that left wingers don't get the concept, if you raise wages, costs go up, followed by prices.
If there were fewer poor you could focus your hate on homosexuals and immigrants.

Hate everybody.....then you can sleep at night. Ask  Lou Farrakhan.

Again, please show us, in the constitution, where it says you should be able to raise a family of 4 , flipping burgers!

Rat,

You shouldnt post things like that and you know why.

Be careful.

Unions and activists say the costs of minimum wage hikes are negligible. But the real faces of $15—and of other dramatic hikes in the minimum wage—are the employers who struggle to offset those costs. As these stories show, their actions often mean fewer opportunities for the employees these laws are meant to help.

Yep,.don't want to invoke your freedom of speech rights, especially in Amerika!

Yep, gonna have to get rid of one employee in order to afford the government enforced pay hike for the other employees.
Besides who says you should have to better yourself, when others can do it for you!

Regulation of wages and prices is not the role of the Federal Government. The role of any government is to preserve Liberty for the individual citizen of the Republic.

The promise of the American Experiment is EQUAL OPPORTUNITY. Nor equal outcome. Difference people, difference.

Equal opportunity is a nice catch phrase but not very realistic in today's world. Definitely something to strive for though.
