Buffoonberger at it again

What was the viable business plan?

Karabu, high lease rates, SWA imroads at STL...TWA had no viablity.

The IAM concessions you speak of were a day late and a dollar short. The pilots, FAs, and ground troops carried TWA on their backs until the stars aligned for the AMR buyout.

Those stars were the UAL/US proposed merger, AMR flush with cash, and a clever BK plan that voided Karabu (and your small TWA stock position).

We all agree that the IAM is a problem. Last time we tried to get a representation vote the IAM tossed in a bunch of names that were management and non-union. Since the pilots on occasion have to defer on inop a system in flight via SAMC then how about all of you pilots send in an AMFA signature card. Same goes for F/A's. How many time do the F/A's have to pull a breaker for a Chiller or an oven. You should be considered as part of the mechanic & related.

You can find the signature card online at http//www.amfa2000.org/ look for AMFA info. Mail it in. Can't hurt.

Dang gatemech. Gotta give you an "A" for a clever plan. You'd think that at some point the pilots would get the idea that the IAM should be helped in being shown the door. We did it, you can do it. Go AMFA.
