The Reserves are sick and tired of crummy WEST LINE HOLDERS.... They even have a new button to piss off the west line holders...

Hi Everyone,

Have you seen the new button??? It reads:

YOU BID IT
YOU FLY IT
NO AUTOS

I think the reserves have had it with this so called "system"!

AND there's another one for crew scheduling too.



NO AUTOS - Reserves want no Autos for line holders.... I guess the reserves are sick and tired of doing LAX Turns.

Any thoughs... Hears some from a WESt point of view.

I guess the reply button could read:

You knew it.
When you decided to work here.
Stop Whinning!

And no ... I"m am not a RESERVE on the WEST. I just wish some of my co workers would have more well wishes for our coutner parts on RESERVE...

EXACTLY! ! ! ! That button does NOTHING but divide a group. While on the east I am by no means happy about our system it is no one persons fault. The system was thrown to us WITHOUT the unions recomendation to vote on. It was voted and passed. We now must work towards a more frieldly system for reserves and blockholders on both sides as we become one. Those lineholders on the west that do that AUTO thing do it because they can. It's allowed and in the contract. As far as knowing it when you took the job, did YOU know everything in the contract when you took the job. I highly doubt that. The point is you can't get po/d for something that is legal to do. FOCUS that anger on a new contract.

Don't blame the lineholders . .if they have a provision that lets them take time off . .why shouldn't they exercise that????

And definitely don't blame the schedulers ..they are only following the rules of the contract approved by the flight attendants.

When I first clicked on this thread, I thought we were getting new FA call buttons on the planes labeled "East" and "West" so we pax could take our choice of which side they had come from. 😉 (Sorry, I'm in that kind of mood after reading this morning's installment of The Galley Show thread.)

Good idea, I suppose. But I suggest a spell checker before you get all those buttons produced.

You gals (and guys) in the east want pilot eye-candy, get a job with one of the express carriers. Those guys (and gals) look like they should still be in 10th grade.

And the mainline cabin crews should be the last bunch to throw stones at the pilots' "mature" appearance!
