What I find amazing is how silent the nations big unions were on this vote.
They could have killed this vote before it got started. This bill as is will kill many union jobs.
The IAM and UAW stand to lose many jobs here. Wonder who is lining there pockets to be so silent.

That's easy -- labor unions are big-time Democrat supporters. The union leaders will sell their members and their families down the river to hold on to their political power.

Oh please, what a cop out of an excuse. Gore would have folded into the fetal position after 9/11, Kerry is a bigger pansy then Obama, which is hard to fathom. The problems in the ME were there long before Bush was in office. He kept it from happening again, like it or not.

Now the details are coming out in the 1500 page energy scam that was never read, yet voted on.

Apparently there's a federal mandate in the bill that on any home sold, a federal contracted inspector will come in and inspect the house for energy efficiency and consumption rating. Anything that falls out of the government mandated guidelines will have to repaired at the expense of the home owner prior to allowing the sale.

If you think we have a housing crisis now, just wait when this further tanks it even further.
