Carter claims racism towards Obama?

Here is the link, I can't see the video on my computer. Don't know the story, thought it might be good..

Is that old goat still alive?

Its the same old tired defense from the left, oh you dont like Obamacare and massive government debt shoved down your throat, your a racist or a crazy.

It is those who keep crying racism that are the real racists.

if that were more the case in the picture, than what you assert would be true ... but i've seen enough pictures of the president at those rallies as hitler or the joker than i care to watch ... those people don't respect the office of the president , and i suspect that many of them don't respect the man because of his skin color ..

Out right racism is unacceptable in our society , but that doesn't mean racism is dead ... there's rational debate , then there' hostile nonsense debate , and i think that's the form of debate being pitched by the racists ..

death panels ? the president wasn't born here and isn't legally able to be president ? the president is a muslim terrorist ?

uh huh ...

Flashback Hypocrisy: Jimmy Carter Calls Obama a "Black Boy"....

Who's the racist now, Jimmy?....

And of course the media talking about transcending racism or something stupid....

Carters senility started while he was in the WH and has apparentely degenerated at a fast rate over the years !

Did you actually listen to the statement he made?

"... this black boy, who grew up with just a loving mother and grand parents ....."

There is nothing racist about his comment. The only racism is yours by not quoting the words he said in their entirety there by taking them out of context.

Your lack of integrity is disgusting.

You mean as disgusting as a congressmen or senator crying racism because another cried "You Lie!" to the messiah? Or does the typical liberal double standard apply?

Which is it?

I find your name calling and insults as equally inappropriate as the former President's remarks

Sorry if I offended you Bob, didn't realize you were one of the three Carter-supporters left in the world !

See...................no name calling either !

No. Disgusting as in taking 3 words completely out of context to call someone racist who has done more good in this world for people of all colors, religions and back grounds then you or I could ever dream of.

Stop trying to change the subject when you are called out on it. This thread is about Carter, not Wilson. You are good at starting threads, I am sure you will have no problem starting one about him.

If you want to discuss the hypocrisy surrounding Wilson's comments we can do that next, but lets try and stick with one topic at a time. For the record, I could not care less what Wilson said. As for Congress protocol, I have no idea how that relates.

Carter? are you kidding me? That old goat was the worst most ineffective president ever (soon to be replaced by Obama).

Ohhh palease spare me the drama, you are the king puddy in changing the subjects when you run out of excuses

Of course you wouldn't.

How come so many ignorant people fail to understand that the Democrats were/are the party of the KKK & racism? It was Republicans who are on their side against the KKK???.

Prosecution and enforcement suppressed Klan activity. In 1874 and later, however, newly organized and openly active paramilitary organizations such as the White League and the Red Shirts started a fresh round of violence aimed at suppressing Republican voting and running Republicans out of office. These contributed to white Democrats regaining political power in the southern states.

Historian Elaine Frantz Parsons commented on the make up of the membership:

Indeed, all they had in common, besides being overwhelmingly white, southern, and Democratic, was that they called themselves, or were called, Klansmen.

And yet...

Why Martin Luther King Was Republican

It should come as no surprise that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a Republican. In that era, almost all black Americans were Republicans. Why? From its founding in 1854 as the anti-slavery party until today, the Republican Party has championed freedom and civil rights for blacks. And as one pundit so succinctly stated, the Democrat Party is as it always has been, the party of the four S's: slavery, secession, segregation and now socialism.

It was the Democrats who fought to keep blacks in slavery and passed the discriminatory Black Codes and Jim Crow laws. The Democrats started the Ku Klux Klan to lynch and terrorize blacks. The Democrats fought to prevent the passage of every civil rights law beginning with the civil rights laws of the 1860s, and continuing with the civil rights laws of the 1950s and 1960s.

During the civil rights era of the 1960s, Dr. King was fighting the Democrats who stood in the school house doors, turned skin-burning fire hoses on blacks and let loose vicious dogs. It was Republican President Dwight Eisenhower who pushed to pass the Civil Rights Act of 1957 and sent troops to Arkansas to desegregate schools.

Why does this guy get airtime any more? He's been irrelevent for years beyond his HFH work, which I commend him for. But beyond building homes...this guy is a waste of air time and, quite frankly, air itself.

His Presidency was a joke, he's been a joke for decades. Shut up and build houses. At least, with HFH, you are repsected, even by your detractors.

I agree, and another guy who shouldn't get any airtime is Al Sharpton and he doesn't even build houses for the poor.
