I just heard the other day they are going to pull the BAE-146s out of the desert and start the FL Shuttle back up!

Does this mean that the rumored (for the past 30 years) Florida crew base is going to happen?

I'm all for expansion and concentration in CLT but US better start looking around. I swear they believe themselves and their business decisions. The entire airline landscape is changing around them and they appear to be unfazed". This new deal of Southwest and Airtran is a HUGE deal. Huge to all the majors but then there's US. US the tiny airline in big airports with big airlines. How long can US continue to stand on the side watching everyone getting married? I hope they expand the hell out of CLT but don't forget about the rest of your network that is being beaten to death by LARGE carriers. 🙄
