HMMMM Seems to me that SOUTHWEST doesn't start up a market and then pull out 2 months later all that often, yet US seems to do it alot........ :huh:

I remember reading an article about SMF wanting to expand the airport and pass on the additional costs to the airlines. The airlines said the airport was ok for now and they didnt need the added expenses to fly there just because SMF wanted a bigger airport. This might be a notice that they better be careful what they decide since you can lose the traffic just as easily as its gained if the market conditions dont warrant flying there?

Actually, the loads on both flights are consistantly the same, but as the article stated, CLT was scheduled to only be a seasonal flight while PHL is here year round, although it is being downgraded to a 319 sometime next month. CLT goes out 130+ if not full every night.
