No longer a counter dragon :-D
Just got a letter in the mail from Deb Thompson, whom I thought resigned from US-East.

"December 8, 2005"

(snip snip)

Each Friday, the Service Superstars are highlighted in USAirways Today as well as listed on the Hub. Hopefully, you recently saw your name listed.

--- end ---

I just searched the Hub and it looks like they no longer do this list. It was always nice seeing who got compliment letters, and sometimes parts of the letters were listed. Anyone know why they stopped this??? The last one I remember seeing was back in October.

Service Superstars moved from the Friday edition of USAirways Today to the Employee Connection around September/October.

You can access it on The Hub by going to Employee Connection, then Recognition and then click onto the Service Superstars link which is updated each week.

Deb Thompson as well as Nancy Richardson are both fake names. They are not one person per se. It directs emails and letters and phone calls to a certain section. Sorry for all of you who thought you were talking to these gals. But your problems got resolved---right?

Would that be dishonest?

Deborah Thompson is a real person ..whether that is "Deb Thompson", I don't know.

I know Deborah Thompson is a real person. Would sending out letters over her signature when she no longer works here be dishonest?

Exactly! I have had the esteemed Deborah Thompson ONBOARD and in the flesh (No figment of MY imagination) several times over the years and her name appeared on the flight manifest as such . If your looking for ficticious managementr......MOST of the former EAST personnel qualified- They sure as hell knew how to occupy space, line their pockets and orchestrate a "Meltdown"

I wrote to the company concerning the "Superstars" program. We used to get a form letter in our mailbox saying that a customer wrote a complimentary letter and attached to it was a copy of the actual letter. The customers' personal info was blacked out but the date, flight, and seat assignment was there.
I do 50 flights a month, mostly 757. That's over 35,000 pax a month. Sending me a generic letter saying that SOMETIME in the month of December someone wrote a good letter ruins that little moment.
Most people write to complain, so to actually have someone write in something nice...it was fun to recall that moment where we stepped up to the plate.
My 2 cents.
