On the HUB, under perks Dansko shoes has been added. Using the employee site we will get 30% off approved styles.

I wear the Rens and was really excited when I seen this and thought I would pass it on. Check it out on the HUB.

Exciting?

These shoes are absolutely hideous. Might as well approve black sneakers for all while you're at it.

While the info may be great for those that have hammertoes I don't find these shoes to be REMOTELY attractive. Imagine the new dress and a chicky wearing THOSE. I know they are great on your feet and are better for you but c'mon. I mean Ugggggh. Might as well carve shoes out of wood and live in a windmill. A girlfriend of mine on a trip asked how I liked her Dansko shoes. I said they just weren't cute and CERTAINLY not feminine looking. She said she didn't care about that. My reply? "Obviously". Now if I could just get me a pair of black velcro orthopedics.

They're incredibly comfortable. The won't win any beauty contests, but they don't look any more hideous than the wallowed out, threadbare pseudo sneakers I've seen out there, or the plastique Norweigan Housewife shoes with the crepe soles either. I've worn them for years. Don't care what they look like, as long as they are comfortable. Same reason my closet's full of Clarks, Birks, Rainbows and Naots. Comfort is king.

Are they weapons or are you actually meant to put them on your feet?

I don't care if they made me feel like I was walking on air. Nothing hotter than seeing a female f/a with the dress on, navy tights and those dansko's. Uggggh. Give her a granola bar.

Seriously, who would wear those? Maybe to an Indigo Girls concert or something.

Eww they are ugly..next thing you know, people are going to be wearing crocs or flip flops 🙄

I know, I know practical over fashionable but would I be caught DEAD wearing those out for a night of dancing? Being SO visible I wouldn't be caught DEAD in them. While I don't want to see what a womans feet will look like after 45-50 years of stilettos there are other shoes out there that are a bit more fashionable. If you have bad feet then maybe. With all this said I do know they are ultra comfortable and are great not only for your feet but your back as well. Oh who cares.

This is the dress shoe I wear with the dress and will wear with the new uniform. I wouldn't wear it on a date, but I do not think it looks bad for a work shoe I have to wear all day and my feet and back love it!

Just FYI: you are not allowed to wear the Clog with the dress anyway, as its not approved footwear with the dress. It can only be worn with slacks or on the aircraft as your service shoe. You can find the info in the company appearance handbook.

If this comment was directed at me, the shoe I wear is not a clog. It is a Dansko dress shoe (Heel height on the Ren is 2 3/4ish) and it is approved to be worn with the dress.

I wuv my comfy shoes!
