Please elaborate. I would like to hear your perspective.

Thanks.

Well, to make a short story long, the fact of the matter is that Awappa and Leonidas endorsed mig status, and it was in fact the masses that didn't want to hear anything of it. That's the way it really was. It took a long time for alot of people to come around, and some still haven't and never will.

I don't remember the verbatim quote, but one soon to be furloughee, in reference to joining for the health insurance, said he'd rather starve than accept anything from usapa.

Thank you. Thank you very much for your honesty.

Ladies and gentlemen, your witness.

Well, from what I understand, mig status, or lack thereof, is an issue back east as well.
Yes. It is. however, I will say that our "organization" really requires a rewrite of its C&B. there are those who can believe what they wish to believe but I always have advocated for a rewrite with east and west participation. You can ask Mitch Vasin because I spoke to him several times about it and I even supported Mitch for the Appeals board.

Why? Because I spoke with Mitch personally and even though Mitch didn't agree with what was in the C&B he also knew there was a procedure for changing it. Too bad Mitch wasn't voted in on appeals board and I wasn't voted in as VP. I would have liked to work with him.

Technically, Mitch was in fact voted in (AC too). The usual suspects decided that since there were 3 westies on the Appeals Board, they must therefore protest the process (never mind that the past Appeals Board was voted in the exact same way - past practice). Truly a pity.

There were and still are too many "loopholes" and I don't mean put there purposely for exclusion. What happened there is one of many that needed to be fixed....for the benefit of all.

I thought you of all pilots would be the last to take my bait....

I am a bit surprised you are claiming you were playing gotcha games and drew me with bait into your trap. Uh, Ok. As to whom a president elect speaks to BPR, AOL, company, whatever its up to them, but their limbo status makes it a bit less expected they would be transparent about their agenda.

I've read the recall site extensively and transparency seems to be a big deal, or at least they want us to make a big deal out of transparency. Fact is the accusations seem very generalized, sorta political innuendo. Their promises and commitments seem like political platitudes. Underwhelming I think.

I've never thought the issue of progress should be laid at the feet of our reps. Far too often the company simply stonewalls and delays until the pilots get antsy and demand that we do something to get a deal, any deal, even negotiate against ourselves to the point that management finally accepts a "deal".

I'm not persuaded we really benefit by playing political musical chairs.

If you don't think you should play political musical chairs. Why the change from ALPA to usapa?

That was musical chairs.

"for the benefit of all the East" You guys are so transparent in your Jihad it's comical. How long did that jury deliberate? 90 minutes?

What deliberations? They just did what they were told to do by the judge...who was overturned. They were kind to him to overturn it on ripeness. It should have been worse.

Driver...

How do you know that? You haven't put a contract with the NIC in it to a vote.

Bean

Bean, even the 9th circuit knew that and made reference to it when they overturned Judge Wake. There won't be a vote unless there are more of you than there are us. By then, it won't matter. Time is running out Bean. You guys are overplaying your hand.

Not USAPA's proposal, just like the KIRBY, If you feel that strongly about it, start a card drive change the UNION and adopt your own policy, other than that enjoy PHXTASYLAND! BTW WE KNOW!
