An arbitration is not like a negotiation, the arbitrator does not split the baby, he does what he thinks is fair.

Except for putting the Group 1 F/Os ahead of the Group 2 Captains, I predicted exactly what the America West arbitration would be.

I think they should put new hires in front of 30 year pilots. An Arbitrator uses arbitrary decision making, not safety and common sense.

Yeah, lets take a really extreme and unreasonable position that has a snowball's chance in hell of succeeding with an arbitrator. That worked really well last time. I don't see how anything could go wrong with this winning formula.

That's what the West argued. George Nicolau has never flown professionally, knows little about aviation like all arbitrators so let's put 50 hour pilots in front of seasoned flight crewmembers and let them lead us.

Makes logical sense.....according to those that have the most to gain.

Calling ANYONE who works for a living a lier and a cheat (and a scab, for that matter) ESPECIALLY when everyone knows who you are carries SIGNIFICANT repercussions. Remember the web boards and what you post can and will be used against you in any court. You MAY be innocent but the costs still add up. I am not threatening anyone myself, I'm simply admonishing that "you reap what you sow".

BTW, these web boards are monitored. You would do well to keep your "disrespect" to yourself.
