This is another "cram down" c'mon say it, shades of HUMMEL, DUI, AOL(EBERWEINE, WEBBER), faction written all over it, just like DUI is APA's savior, all preplanned, the WEST, has no SCOPE, no COC, but yet 2 members on the NAC, why? can see they have 1 rep on the NAC, but 2? Wake up! What position has DUI promised these guys?, look around you, your most effective management clones ALPA or otherwise are checkpilots, or chiefpilots, or are BILL POLLOCK hiring pilots, HUMMEL on DECK! CHIPPY NEXT?
 
What is even more clueless is yourself hired after 2000, and telling us WOODY is a nut, now who is on dangerous ground?Alot of us have not always agreed with WOODY, but at least he has experience in these matters unlike , some others, my bet it is all mute, HORTON has had DUI's number at every turn, he has paraded as a fool, the APA and the 2 other UNIONS used him also, in the end, (WHEN THE REAL"TEXAS" MONEY SHOWS UP!) DUI will be shown to the door only to be played for the DUI fool he is and his band of merrymen! MM!

My guess Horton Emerges standalone aquires and splits USAIRWAYS ,they have seen the books remember DUI has way "OVERVALUED THE COMBINED USAIRWAYS"!
 
I agree with that. But I also see that in this instance, it's really important that they get ALL the details straight before they make anything public. There are so many factions in the Pilot ranks, all of whom have an agenda, that clarity is more important than ever. I mean, just look at what has occurred so far. Even thought they have lost in every court available to them, the westies still insist that they are going to get the Nic. Pretty unbelievable. And pretty stupid.

Its as good a guess as any. AA (i.e. Horton and Crandall) have clearly telegraphed a merger after emerging from bankruptcy/after a SLI agreement, and APA has complained that AA is delaying. AA has exclusivity until the end of March, I think. Both the APA and the UCC have benefitted from DUI leverage against Horton, but still Horton is way more qualified to be the CEO of the combination.

Pursuant to the Court’s resolution of the motions for summary judgment,
IT IS ORDERED Counts I and III of the complaint are dismissed and judgment is
entered in favor of US Airline Pilots Association on Count II of the complaint. US Airline
Pilots Association’s seniority proposal does not breach its duty of fair representation
provided it is supported by a legitimate union purpose. This judgment is binding on the
following class: “All pilots employed by US Airways in September 2008 who were on the
America West seniority list on September 20, 2005.”

"On November 2nd, Leonidas LLC announced its intention to publish the names of individuals who have made significant financial contributions to the legal effort that has successfully defended the careers of all America West pilots. This list is our way of recognizing these individuals and to say “thank you” for affording us the resources to preserve our rights. The list will include only the names of those who have attained GOLD or TITANIUM status as of the date of publication. Although we will not publish the actual dollar amount of any contributor on our list, many of these individuals have contributed beyond the minimum amount to attain their respective status.

It was our goal to publish this list on December 1st, but because of many recent requests, we have decided to extend the publication date by approximately three weeks to allow our contributors additional time to reach these levels in order to be recognized. To be recognized, you must have attained at least the GOLD contribution level (minimum $1500), or preferably, the TITANIUM contribution level (minimum $3000) no later than December 23rd. On Friday, January 4, 2013 we will publish the list on our website at www.cactuspilot.com. "
 
It sounds like aol will list the names of those that have contributed, exposing those that have not. Nothing has changed with their game plan, intimidation of their own. Sad.

pilot group does not know about your plan to pay USAPA dues and join as a member,
else I fear for your safety.” Defendant McI is a member of the Board of Directors
of AWAPPA.

76. The defendants and their co-conspirators have harassed and intimidated a
pilot who was interested in becoming a USAPA representative by posting his telephone
number on the AWAPPA website and suggesting that a “couple HUNDRED strongly
worded [telephone] messages” may deter his participation with his union. The pilot has
determined not to become a USAPA representative, thereby depriving Phoenix-based US Airways pilots of representation within USAPA’s political structure.

77. The pilot referenced in paragraph 76 was forced to seek the assistance of
US Airways in dealing with multiple threats he received by both telephone and e-mail in
response to his interest in becoming a USAPA representative. One such electronic
communication sent on or about May 12, 2008, inquired as to when a “blanket party”
would be held for this pilot. Upon information and belief, a “blanket party” refers to a
method of assault in which attackers restrain and blind their victim by throwing a blanket over the victim’s head, and then strike the victim repeatedly. The same pilot has been subjected to the threat of a concerted effort by multiple pilots to put him on a “no fly” list in order to severely limit or eliminate his work opportunities."
