Dec 2012 / Jan 2013 US Pilots Labor Discussion

There's another way to view this pattern you speak of. The CLT reps have made noise, but in the end their final position, or vote record, is more moderate. The MOU was voted 11-0. Some would have them recalled because they don't like to see the way sausages are made. I say the CLT reps have simply been the canary in the coal mine.

If a more pro Hummel group had been the CLT BPR reps these past few weeks, would we have gotten a different and possibly inferior version of this MOU? Aren't you curious to know?

The reps don't negotiate anything. They only direct. Where is the vote showing the CLT directed the NAC to do anything? Where is the record showing that it was only the CLT reps that did that?

In the usapa world majority rules. There are 11 reps, how is it that just the 3 CLT reps were able to improve the MOU all on their own? I find it funny that McKee especially will rant about majority rules. But as soon as he losses and is in the minority he whines about the majority forcing it's agenda. That it is a bad thing when CLT, DCA and JW vote together. But when it is CLT, PHL voting together it is OK. That is a good majoirty but JW voting the other way is a cave.

McKee is all about keeping McKee on FPL. So are the other CLT reps.

I suspect that the NDA will not be lifted until after a decision regarding the merger is made. The unanimous approval of the "New" MOU by the BPR, provides management with the "appearance" of labor "unity and approval", which is all he needs at this point to "get er done", after which, he could care less if the rank and file ever approves the MOU.

In fact, "Team Tempe" would probably prefer it if the MOU did get rejected by us. He could then continue dragging out the contract process for a few more years and pocket the labor cost savings! Old habits are hard to break, especially when they are still working for you.

The CLT pilots are an embarrassment to all of you. East and West. I hope the nut jobs actually notified the company of their intent to willfully violate the NDA. Threats? Hostage taking? Gee, where did they get that game plan? These scum bags are out of control and need to be neutralized. They are exposing every pilot and their families to tremendous liability for nothing but selfish, ego fueled purposes. They're childish maniacs.

Bill Glynn does a tremendous job getting information out. We will read what we want Clear. At least Bill doesn't produce those stupid Leonidas type clips.
Depends on what you consider "information" If you mean truth and the whole story, than not so much.

So you're a different front line pilot than myself? Are you one of those pilots who prefer to be kept in the dark? Not me. Reading those emails from the reps to Streble disgusts me, and most especially the part where a rep threatens to undercut the NDA. I hope he tries it. I won't be paying his legal fees with my dues.

I don't know if that is true or not. We just might be on the hook for his legal fees. Aren't those guys covered by an indemnity clause or is it just the big dogs?

I'm pretty sure he wouldn't be protected. Hummel's letter was written to cover USAPA's back should he be idiotic enough to violate the NDA. I would think he would lose his job as a pilot as well.

And when he doesn't, "GET ER DONE" my prediction, DUI like SCOTTY will sell his stock and ride off into the sunset!

Bill doesn't produce anything either. Bill M. feeds him info and Bill G. simply regurgitates it under his name.

You need to consider the source of all this, everything is coming from Munn and his group of rollcall rejects.
