24/7 shilling says otherwise.
Keep up the name calling.

And people know who I am, and they would post me on the IAM LM2, it has been done before on here, last time I worked for the IAM was the summer of 2013 for the raid against the IAM Mechanic and Related at US Airways.

But keep up the lies.

So then what's the purpose of your 24/7 IAM propaganda?

Some kind of therapy?

Not sure if you noticed but, HMV's have been gone for awhile now.
Okay, do you have a point? So they are gone thus don't count anymore?

What's to stop AA or any other unionized company from filing BK and getting rid of half of their unionized employees or even going out of business?
question, if it was that easy southwind why has it happened 1 time each for AA and UA?
Oh and i wont even commit on the "going out of business" part.

Nice to see other airlines adding maint. hangars as well this year...
FWIW that is Delta's brand new Mexico outsourcing outfit.

Which hasnt happened in how many years?

How much as been closed or reduced since the merger?
on the Delta side? other than a merger I can't remember a time. Maybe in the 1980s but I don't think Ron or Leo opened a single station.

Wow you really make the idea of filing Bankruptcy super easy when currently all 4 major carriers are pulling in record profits. I guess they don't have to abide by any "means" test in your world or go through Section 1113 if they file for Chapter 11?

Don't think any of these airlines have a Chapter 7 coming up anywhere on the horizon if that's what you're barking up.
wait you mean that there are laws and rules and such? WHAT?!?!?! WeAAsles that can't be true, Southwind says it can happen.

which is why for DL, AA and UA is has happened all the time. All 1 time for each carrier.

That had what to do with DL?

And your article is from April of 2015.

Wow. Speaks volumes if all found to be true. Just curious where that 35 mil was going to get directed if all this was able to get completed without being found out.  I also thing there should be a huge penalty added to the 35 mil that Delta was trying to "steal" from the employees. I say give the entire amount of 175 mil spread equally to all 80,000 employees.  Nice to see the Pilots union group looking out for all of Delta employees. Great find (again if all found to be true) by the Pilots group, to double check the company. Kinda wondering if our union shouldn't do the same or any union at SWA to double check, Hmmmmmm.

just some points.  This is NOT from the Delta Pilot Union. DALPA... Rather a few who created DPA

also when asked the F/A group received the following:

over the past several years, Delta has been progressing well on its journey to becoming a high quality industrial company. Part of that journey is fully recognizing the costs of doing business and not excusing real expenses by simply labeling them as special, unusual or nonrecurring. The items mentioned in the original post are examples of this:
• We incurred $75M of expense related to Venezuela currency write-offs that did reduce 2016 profit sharing. Why? Because that expense was related to revenue from 2013-14 upon which we already paid profit sharing in those years, despite ultimately not receiving the cash from the Venezuelan government.

• The $40M severance-related expense is the fourth such occurrence in the last five years mostly related to voluntary programs – clearly not a one-time occurrence and something we recognize as a real expense.

• Our fuel expense reflects our actual gains/losses in purchasing fuel. Changing market conditions can affect the timing of those gains and losses, but they are always real. This is nothing new or different.
