Vike, I am not replying to stir the pot but I do have a few questions in regard to your post. If the Pilots you have engaged convo with do not agree with a strike, then, why did 97% vote for it? I doubt they had a gun held to their head. You stated above that the Pilots will adhere to anything Lee Moak says.... Why is that? He is their leader, just like out Soldiers follow the commands of their leaders. Yes, this is war. Why did they not put anything away knowing this was "coming down the pike"? I will agree, most in this industry are suffering, between the Fuel issues, <LCCs> and a monumental change in Corporate America doing Business, plus I'm sure a plethera of other factors that come into play. There comes a time in everyones life when they have to make a decision based upon ...What is best for me! Regardless of how it affects anyone else, That's Life.
