The 1/2 mini, whole mini issue is huge...please remember that the ones most concerned with this are alcoholics. The difference between 1/2 a mini and a whole mini could be the one that decides whether or not they beat their wife or kick their kids when they get home.

No, I’m not going to sell them – just maybe put a PDF file here that anyone can print out at home, and then take to Kinko’s to be printed and laminated.

Or perhaps some CafePress.com merchandise to be sold at cost…

You know maybe that is the way they were trained (not that I agree or disagree with it) and for alot of those AWA maybe the first airline (or first airline with F Class)that they ever worked for and they may not even know any better.

Well he must have an anger management problem then, because he seems to make a habit of blowing his cool. Also seems to have an issue with alcohol...projecting, perhaps? When he's not calling the US/East customers alcoholics, he's calling the US/East employees alcoholics. :blink:

The last time I got tagged I was last week at my hotel in JFK and before my wake up call they called to tell me that I had a SNA turn to do. Now it's 530a phx time and the SNA turn wasn't until 130p phx time. Does that make any sense? A reserve sitting at home could have done this instead of someone coming from the east coast on a 10 hr overnight.

SEC 7-15 paragraph 3.
The company shall have no telephone contact with Flight Attendants during rest periods except in Company-related emergencies including RESCHEDULES, REROUTES, IRREGULAR OPERATIONS or for PERSONAL EMERGENCIES. Crew Resources shall use its best judgment when contacting a Flight Attendant at a layover station and, in most cases, shall not contact a Flight Attendant prior to (2) hours before departure. Flight Attendants will not "block" incoming calls while on a layover.

Ok, I stand corrected! I had no idea it was that bad out west, actually I had no concept it COULD be that bad. AFA East oversees things a bit closer I guess, and that statement was in not way meant to be an insult to AFA west. AFA east has been doing it for a few decades longer, is all. Hopefully West will see what it is like to be treated with respect from scheduling in the near future....(and no, the are not "our secretaries" not a good attitude to have and expect to be treated with respect)

I don't answer my hotel phone, ever. Calling my cell phone won't get me to answer it either. The company does not pay for my cell phone and it cannot be used as a leash while I am working or on my days off. The jetway phone is another phone I never touch. If the company wants me they are just going to have to go through the flightdeck.

1/2 mini vs. full mini, myself I don't drink and do not like the smell of booze. Giving the full mini is the way I like it as it keeps me from smelling like I work in a bar.
