Could be as late as 10. The show of force overwhelmed the local.
The United count is completed so is the Trustee count. The Grievance
Committe for Fleet will be last.

Congrats to the new CLT committee.

the 3 Canalites lost by huge margins. over 600 valid votes.

congrats to the workers choice

out of 600+ votes, the previous Local Chairman only received 165 votes. His former two committeeman only received 146 votes and 95 votes. Hopefully, the previous committee can give their full support to the new committee.

Canale is next.

regards,

Tim serious doubt that out of the 3 amigos .

the 3 newcomers received a total of 974 votes combined.

reason I say I doubt it is because. THEY DIDN'T give the MEMBERSHIP there support in the T/A and other issues

thats why there is now a NEW committee committed to the MEMBERSHIP . NOT a mouthpiece for Canale / Reagan / and Rusk

Tom Regan is a GLR, not a 141 member, Tom is a US mechanic who was an GC, SR not a Grand Lodge rep, he is a member of 142.

All I have to say is good luck to FS in CLT, with MC on the committee you will need it.

if regan is a mech. then why is always trying to sell f/s b/s contracts. ??

Tom is a former Utility and GSE Mechanic.

Since he is a financial expert he is used for numerous CBAs especially when it comes to pensions.

Wouldn't you want the best person available within your organization to represent you?

A BIG +1 here in reality the 3 amigos done them selves in.

for those on the system . I hope todays voter turnout sends a message to everyone that.

CLT has had enough and is closing in on PHL with the solidarity card. So Randy if you or your boys are reading this

you might want to run your ideas for future t/a's thru clt and phl . the 2 largest hubs on the system first .

this new Grievance Committee is committed to the MEMBERS first and not what the INTERNATIONAL wants to push down our throats

the Canale Puppets have left the building!!!!!

"Wouldn't you want the best person available within your organization to represent you?"

sorry don't quite see where his creditenals meet his expertise in pensions. but none the less

if he is the best we got. WE ARE SCREWED !!!!

Tom is the pension expert for US Airways, I have worked with him and seen him in action.

Have you ever worked with Tom in negotiations?

Tom can cost out every item in a CBA and knows his stuff, he negotiated the IAM/US MTI CBA, go take a look at it, during BK II he was the only IAM Negotiator to reach a fair and equitable deal for his MTI represented employees.

I'll take your word on it.. I just have a problem with someone telling me I need this and I need to take that and they don't work in

my class and craft . Tom has had other opions besides pensions that he's thrown at us. IMO

"Fair and equitable" is relative to those who administer and those who are subjected to such treatment. The current vote outcome
CLEARLY demonstrates that the majority now believes that inequity and unfairness are the only things being administered by the very organization that we are paying to represent us. No amount of empty rhetoric by self promoting, arrogant, condescending, IAM toadies (such as Mr. Regan and yourself) can alter that stance. The essential gist that the IAM gods need to internalize is that they had better realize (quickly) whom they serve, or risk "scorched earth" type of response from the rank and file. Strong, decisive actions are the only things which will now carry any weight. The time of subterfuge, secrecy, and crony ism is past being tolerated.

Brilliant post! As far as Tom goes, he's a real nice guy I had the privilige of meeting several years ago, however, his determination of what is fair has always been biased, especially when concerning fleet service. Trickle down Tom can keep his IAM approved "Reagonomics". These guys think just because people work the ramp that they are stupid.

Bottom line is that nobody needs a degree or 'etucation' to know what is fair. By nature, people can almost feel fairness and when they are getting screwed over, they just may not know how to express it. The last contract that was endorsed by the principles of reagonomics was so awful and unfair that the senses of the workers themselves 'smelled' its reekness and didn't have to do the math on it.

It's a freakin' shame that 'expertise' (just curious - what are his credentials? IAM big-whigs aren't too keen on posting them) didn't trickle down to fleet.

Trickled on is more like it.

And let's put that "well this guy is 142, that guy is ex-UA, blah-blah-blah" to rest. They all answer to Roach.

There is absolutely NO WAY they are operating without his approval.

All fleet has ever been is a bargaining chip for mechs and UA. Fleet has finally pulled the curtain back, and is voting appropriately.

I'd love to see the wave wash Canale and company out of office.
