Employee feedback needed

I, for one, will take the time and make my feelings known. What can it hurt? You never know until you try. IMHO, if his inbox isn't full, then the perception is there that no one really cares and will take whatever is handed to them..........and we all know that isn't the case. It may be a long shot but what the heck, give it a try.

FWIW, I tried to send my responses in the earlier post twice - once before posting above (I cut-n-pasted directly from the email) and a second time after the first was returned as "undeliverable". The second attempt was also returned "undeliverable". Here is the gist of the message returned to me:

Failed to deliver to 'corpcomm@usairways.com'
SMTP module(domain @137.118.16.126:usairways.com) reports:
host mailgate6.usairways.com says:
550 5.1.1 <corpcomm@usairways.com>... User unknown

Apparently the email address in the original message from "About US" is incorrect or I'm doing something wrong.

Not sure if it would make any difference or not, but the story said to put Culture Feedback in the subject line. Did you do that? Just a thought.

Great post by the way.........right on the money!!

why don't you just send it to larry.lesure@usairways.com?

AirWoman,

Yes, even cut-n-pasted it from AboutUS the second time (as well as the email address). Still didn't go thru.

etops,

I'll try that - thanks.

Jim

Or maybe it has to come from a company e-mail address. Wouldn't that be the sh*ts!! Not everyone has a company e-mail address.

Jim
actually the server mailbox might be full if you are getting an "undeliverable" error

corporate.communications@usairways.com not corpcomm

corporate.communications@usairways.com not corpcomm
Thanks, barbee. I'll try that. So far I've tried the corpcomm@usairways.com, larry.lesuer@usairways.com, & larry_lesuer@usairways.com, each at least twice with the same result.

The names won't help, either. It's larry.lesueur@usairways.com. You're missing a "u". Proper pronunciation being "le-swear" and not "le-sewer"!

My point in starting this was if they are so serious of our input why the short window of time? Answer, it was just a marketing jester not to actual be taken seriously. Boeingboy, your hired! If ever we elect someone capable of expressing our desires and needs you've got my vote. Send that puppy to every email address you can find regardless of their position. It'll filter to the right person. Hopefully DP.

Why not send it to Justplanenews.com. That's where it originated.

Here is the article from The Hub. It is pretty clear what the email address is:

CULTURE FEEDBACK IS REQUESTED
Last week, VP Culture Integration, Larry LeSueur
requested that employees send their questions and
comments about our company culture to him in order to
help us "develop a direction for US Airways that
ensures our future success and a strong, positive
culture."
Questions Larry asked us to think about include:
-How do we ensure our employees feel valued and
engaged?
-How do we best communicate with you?
-How do we ensure a successful integration of the two
airlines? In other words, what will success look like
to you?
-How do we ensure our customers consider US Airways a
leader in customer service?
-What do you expect from your senior leadership
(director and officer level)?
-What do you expect from your local leadership
(supervisors, managers)?
-Lastly, what do you expect from your peers, both in
your department and in other departments?
If you'd like to respond to these questions or provide
additional feedback, please write to:
corporate.communications@usairways.com by Dec. 15.
