Are turn times ever considered?Oh and TIMCO does line maintenance too
Buck they didn't worry about the turn times at MCIE when we turned them out early what ever that meant. All I heard was bitchin from the TWU bretheren about MCIE still being open. Well fellas welcome to your bowl of humble soup I just hope the next union won't staple your a$$$$$$ TO the bottom remember Gless is watching your back .Are turn times ever considered?
Or Quality?
Hmm, you seem to forget that in the TA we rejected the ASM cap was more than doubled, meaning that those in the smaller stations would have reason to be concerned and it would be by our own hand.
So tell us Overspeed, do you think that if we had agreed to the TA that AA would not have filed? That they would have continued to pay leases on things they did not use like all those planes in the desert and abandoned facilities?
Question was asked about hourly rates at TIMCO rumor has it it is between 40 to 50 a man hour and the mechanics only get a third of that. But all MRO's have gone fixed price any ways so the rate doesn't really matter. If it cost AA 2 million to do a C check in house and the MRO's bid 1 million then geuss who does the C check
Unless the original agreement has a penalty phase. Fines for being late, etc...Your right, hourly billed rate does not matter unless you are paying time & material.

As in a earlier post, 5CK is late, TIMCO has asked for a 10 day extension and the FCF test hop is 12/15/11.
I have no idea whether or not AMR would have filed
if the TA had passed I would have had close to an additional $15K plus in my pocket.
I am feeling great to have you walking in to US BK Court to argue our case.
And this has what to do with the late 75 they're overhauling?TIMCO opens new facility.

This doesn't have anything to do with the 757's being outsourced to TIMCO either, so I will move along.
Yes they have been sitting since 11-1-2011,waiting induction into c check. They were sitting in the desert before that ferried twice so far.Took my brother to GSO to catch a flight this morning and it looked like 3 AA 757's in TIMCO's facility. 1 sitting on the ramp was definitely AA's, a 2nd was behind the first from my point of view from the terminal so didn't have a great view but looked like AA's, and the third just had the tail sticking out between the hanger doors and my viewpoint was from almost directly behind it but it appeared to be AA's. Couldn't swear that the last 2 were AA's given my limited view, though.
