Why didn't Mesa use the Desert Sun Certificate? Did they give it up, or had it sat dormant too long when they decided to form Freedom?

This airline will go down in flames with it's contracted out flying, Mesa and Republic. The few mainline employees left have to compete with people who do a terrible job taking thier jobs, so how can they get excited and compete with other airlines? And why do a good job when you have Mesa representing you, but you throw out MidAtlantic? The animosity especially towards Republic is never going to end, did it help the company out that much to enrage so many of its employees?

Successful airlines. LCCs... Southwest.... uses its own employees. JetBlue... uses its own employees. Hmmmmm... ya think that might be a trend? Maybe the basic first step in having a team with good morale?
