I thought he lost it when he hooked up with Falwell and the other guy (I forgot who it was). Before then it was my understanding that he had credibility because he stood up for what he believed in. I had harsh words for the religious nut jobs (like 700) and then all of a sudden he sucks up to them to get their voting block. People saw through that and he paid dearly. Then he shows up in Iraq saying "hey folks, everything is A-OK". He failed to mention he was in the green zone backed up by Apachies and who knows how many troops and he was wearing body armor.

His future was long gone before he signed on to the immigration fiasco.

As for 700 and Mike Richards. Like the joke about what is the difference between rats and lawyers …. There are some things a rat won’t do …. I am pretty sure even Richards has certain standards and I seriously doubt that 700 even come close.

I think the amnesty fiasco was the icing on the cake....

Let's see...a sterotype would be to tie an unrelated belief or action to somebody based on their physical characteristics or personal beliefs (i.e. if a soldier is gay then he/she will try to fornicate with all others of the same sex...meaning we stereotype all gays as being sex-fiends and unable to control themselves...therfore bar them from the military).

But NHBB didn't stereotype b/c he is talking about the platform of a political party. If you are a republican than it is your platform to be a blind patriot and religious zealot based on what Bushie has made the party platform out to be. People that have remained faithful to the far right have done so b/c they believe in this platform. So...to call out the beliefs of a group that has stated those beliefs is not sterotypical...it is narrative of the platform.
